Mission: Outside Contact
Chapter: Stronghold Assault
Stay in cover until he gets close and melee him, press start and reload last checkpoint. Repeat this 10 times.

Great location for this! I would like to add that there are 2 more brutes just down the street from this one. I got to this checkpoint with a full overkill meter that I could activate after the 1st brute, then mow my way down to the next 2, working on an overkill achievement on the way.

Just pointing out that xMIEx PhreshBoi's guide is right where the money is if you don't have the achievement by the end of the game then load up the final fight with salem on EASY and when he sends the three brutes simply melee kills all three of them.
This means it would take about 4 attempts to get the achievement.
Video below showing how easy the final fight is and where the three brutes are sent at you.
Can be done with AI or a real partner.

KILL 10 BRUTES IN PHYSICAL CONFRONTATION

Not as hard as it sounds even on the harder difficulties. When you go to mêlée a brute (the guys that often have LMG or grenade launchers & heavy armor) a button mashing sequence will appear and all you have to do is tap A rapidly. If you get to the fight with Salem and still don't have the achievement it will be a point before the truck when 3 brutes drop down (left right and opposite side of the start)
Note: Make sure you both are on even ground as many times I just got killed trying to melee

Even counts if your partner goes in melee with them and you shoot them up to get the kill.
