Very simple. Start Career mode, and win the first rally that you are instructed to complete, which is raced over two fairly short, fairly simple stages. Upon completion of the second stage, and provided you won overall across the two stages, this achievement will unlock.

Of course, for the easiest path, set the difficulty to the easiest setting and it'll be a breeze.

I got this after coming fourth, so i don't think winning is even required at this stage.

I came second in the first rally, then did the second one in japan came first in both stages still no unlock, guessing itll come after completing the whole group which looks like 15 races total or its glitchy

I think it is glitchy, unless by win it means just to complete it.

I did terribly and it's unlocked for me but it also unlocked without me knowing as it never popped up!

As the achievement title is podium I assume top3 is ok. As that's what I did.
