The fujin is a group A car unlocked by default. Use it whenever you are doing Group A events. Progress can be tracked on the car selection page, the odometer of the car will be shown. 555 km is equal to 345 miles. You will also unlock
Comfy Seats on the way.
You should use the car when going for the free roam achievements.

After getting all of the collectables and using the fujin for a few miscellaneous achievements, I was at around 225 kilometers. I found mara simba to be the best grinding spot for racking up the miles, since most of the roads were somewhat straight. It took only 3 hours to get to 555 kilometers.
So why is everyone rating this game 0-1hr when it took 3 hours to get this achievement?

I'm looking for the same answer @Conor. What the hell is going on here?

There was a mod discovered that unlocks all achievements instantly. However, it requires DLL file manipulation, so don't use it. It's not an approved mod for TA.
Thanks, just saw the discussion on the forum. Game does not support mods and people are using an edited DLL file to replace the original one. Of course this is not intended and not allowed on TA.

Ummm, no it definitely doesn't do that. I did three terminal damages in a row, and my mileage went up by one mile.

It seems to be a bit random. Did some crashing last night, and gained approx 250km of mileage on this car. However, when I was trying it out on some longer tracks to see if I could boost it, mileage seemed to count as expected.

Ummm, yeah it definitely does do that.

I can also confirm that the game counts the mileage of the whole stage, after getting terminal damage and restarting the stage. You'll even realize that it counts more then it should, because I also got the 500km and 555km cheevos both within a minute

Another confirming the crash-cheese works. I have one season left I couldn't stomach doing after a 50-even sitting of group a - the 4x5 rally - so I had 330km done. Got this achievement within 10-15 mins of crash-grinding.

I completed Group A in the Fujin and it took me from 0 to 501km. If this is any help.

Crash cheese worked for me, have 2500km on odometer with this car and all I've done is use it for crash cheese for about an hour if that.

I just tried it a few times and my mileage only went up by one mile.

Zasta, the crash cheese is the solution to "if everything seems under control"

Just a heads up that if you dont get this while doing all the group a events and collecting all the collectables. If you use the method posted in the complete 1000 events guide the game counts you as driving the full 4.2miles even after crashing out at the start of the track so you can get this in around 10mins easy

I think its just a bit dodgy with tracking the millage. I did maybe 10 resets or so and it wasn't seeming to add the correct value onto the total miles covered. But then last night I thought I'd put 20 minutes or so into grinding this achievement and out of nowhere I got the 500km and 555km in the Fujin. So to the people going for the distance achievements, I'd just keep persisting, it will no doubt pop for you after 15-20 minutes
