How to unlock the Breaking Bread achievement in As Dusk Falls - Definitive Guide

This achievement is obtained at the end of the last chapter of the game.

To obtain this achievement Jay must be in a secluded cabin in the woods, for that he must have been sent by the environmental guard or he must have jumped the waterfall and escaped from the FBI. Soon after Zoe will meet you at the cabin, so be friendly and don't blame him for everything that happened, as the conversation goes on, Jay will want to share a meal with Zoe, accept and will pop the achievement on the screen.

i guess this is related to leaving Vinessa after the party?

You don't have to leave Vanessa to get this achievement

The only achievement that you leave Vanessa for is the ranger one but it all depends on your choices I think

all other achievements you don't have to abandon Vanessa I only went back to leave Vanessa just to get the achievement with the ranger

i can confirm you can start from chapter 5 no matter if u hurt someone and don't surrender at the ranger. I didnt have Vinessa with me.

On the story tree you can see that this goes for if you "comforted Jay" I asked him all questions, was nice, said we were alike, say I don't hate him, he's kind, no he's not broken, then he'll ask about rabbit dinner you don't even have to agree it just happens.

Explore: Ch.6 'Entered The National Park' - you might then get the option to run from the ranger, and do some QTE (I missed the first QTE swipe left and he caught up, so I had to tackle him over the waterfall). After that Jay ends up in a cabin and Zoe visits, and she just needs to suck up to him and eat a poor rabbit 🐇😿. Just don't surrender to the Ranger (not sure how the Ranger sends you to the cabin instead, I guess Jay murdered him too my way - he's responsible for about 10 deaths at this point, but hey-ho LOL!).
all other achievements you don't have to abandon Vanessa
Obviously you have to leave Vanessa to get 'You're on your own', at the cliff, after the party.
