As Dusk Falls

To earn this achievement you need Vince to lose his fight with Tyler and get shot as a result.

To accomplish this, load up the "Holts Stormed the Motel" section of the Chapter 1 story tree.

The important decisions which will impact this achievement are as follows:

When asked by the Holts who you're with, choose "Just my dad".
When Big Sam enters and Vince looks at the earring on the ground, choose to hide the evidence.
When asked by Big Sam who you're with, once again choose "Just my dad".
When your wife walks into the motel, select the option "Let's get out of here".
Immediately after this you'll enter into a QTE with Tyler. Don't press anything and fail both QTEs.
Once Vince is on the floor, select the option "Say your goodbyes".

Your achievement will pop once the screen goes black and the gun goes off.

Tell Tyler Vince is only with his dad.
Hide evidence.
Tell Sam that Vince is only whit his dad.
Tell Michelle Let's get out of here.
Fail the QTE and say your goodbyes.

Achievement is earned from the continue point of Sam arriving. Leave the earring on the floor, admit your wife and kid are there after previously lying about it to Tyler, Joke with Sam that you’re on the run. After Zoe finds the earring choose Help. When Tyler enters and takes Michelle Hostage choose the grab the gun option that appears after a couple seconds. When option comes to shoot Tyler chose the Surrender option which will result in Vince being shot and the achievement.
