As Dusk Falls

To earn this achievement you need Vince to remove the bullet from Michelle and save her after she gets shot.

To accomplish this, load up the "Escaped the Office" section of the Chapter 2 story tree.

The important decisions which will impact this achievement are as follows:

It takes a while to get to the first option. Once you escape the office, you'll go up and find your daughter, then come downstairs and free everybody. Once the shootout with the police starts, you're given the option of either running or staying. Select "Run for it", and Michelle will get shot.
Successfully complete the QTEs to move Michelle to the couch.
When she asks you to remove the bullet, select the option "Remove Bullet".
Successfully complete the next set of QTEs and you'll remove the bullet.

After finishing the final QTE, your achievement will unlock

If you're struggling with any QTE, you can extend your QTE timer in the game options. This affords you a bunch of extra time to get them done without failing.

Chapter 2. Michelle has to be shot ( when the cops bust into the motel: run away ). Do QTEs to take the bullet out ( remove bullet as an option when prompted).

Earned by Removing bullet from Michelle.

After escaping the back office and locating Zoe untie the hostages to trigger a fire fight. Choosing to run results in Michelle being shot and options to remove the bullet after moving her to the couch

Because all the other posts are talking about running away while escaping the motel, there an easier, faster way to get this achievement.

When finishing chapter 1, get into a fight with Tyler over the gun. This is easier to do if you don't tell him about your family at the end of the previous checkpoint but still possible to do even if you do tell him.

Anyway, fight with him over the gun and lose the button prompts.


Just make the choices and prompts that lead to digging the bullet out of her.
