Alternatively if you end up in a fight with the sheriff as Vince: complete the QTEs, lay down the weapon at the pool as soon as possible and then choose:
She's only six
I’m begging you.

+1. Think the key is the I'm begging you dialogue. Achievement doesn't pop until Vince is in the car with the Holt's

Anyone else having issues with this achievement popping up? The website says I’ve completed the game but Xbox still says 49/50

I had to wait until the 2nd QTE in the car before cheevo popped

(Not sure if this works both ways but I believe you need to let the daughter free and NOT the grandpa earlier in the game to get this achievement)

At the end of chapter 3 the questions you answer come after the pool fight with Vince and Tyler

You don't need to let the daughter (Zoe) free. I let the grandpa (Jim) free and still got this achievement. There maybe other options however that may alter how you get this achievement.

They had Zoe because the grandpa went out the window in the previous scene and I said the same two responses, This isn't necessary and I can help. Got this achievement.
