How to unlock the Secure Steps achievement in Asdivine Saga - Definitive Guide
It's the best idea to unlock this achievement after doing everything else, afterwards grab your airship and fly around the world map to collect "steps". The whole lenght from south to north is worth around 120 steps. Under "Record" you can check your current progress. That's all you have to know.
You have to walk 500,000 steps. You can see how many steps you have walked in the records section on the pause menu.
You will almost certainly have to grind this out. I was only at about 350,000 after finishing the game (including all of the post-game content). There are two options here:
If you just want this achievement out of the way quickly, flying around in your airship or pacing in a town lets you earn steps without having to deal with random encounters.
The other option is to use this extra time to power-level. You can go to the metal area that is on the small peninsula just southeast of the Lost Ruins and walk back and forth waiting for encounters. Once you get around level 300, you can turn auto-battle and skip the combat completely (but you still get credit for the kills). Around level 600 or 700, you can move to the other metal area on the larger island southeast of Zeron Cave.
The amount of time it took to get the remaining battles, and the remaining steps, was almost the same amount of time to level up to 999 (with level 99 in all magic areas). (I did buy three XP orbs from the pause-menu shop.)
