I think most would agree, that the boss isn't very difficult, but the Palace of Lathyrus dungeon is quite annoying. Especially on the harder difficulty. I have a video walkthrough where I beat the dungeon in single player with the AI on the Children of Sissna difficulty, so it should give some tips where to go and how to approach the enemies.

On normal difficulty you have a ton of more health, so it should be a lot easier.

At 14.30 I was insanely lucky that the AI companion spawned back to the game, I would have likely died if that didn't happen.


The boss itself is quite a simple fight. You fight a dual sword guy that hovers around and has some minions following around. The boss sometimes does a fire AOE attack at the center, but there's plenty of time to avoid the damage. Just keep your shield up and hit him in the back while he focuses on your companion, or use spears do to damage from far away. The boss has two phases and is more aggressive on the second phase. The second phase activates when you have dealt 50% health damage to him.
