How to unlock the King Pair achievement in Ashes Cricket 2009 - Definitive Guide

This is best achieved when you are trying to get the Top Hat Trick achievement which is taking 4 wickets with 4 balls, this gaurantess 2-3 golden ducks, batsman out on first ball for 0. If you do this in the 1st Innings then take note of the 2-3 batsmen that you got golden ducks for and when you see them appear in the 2nd innings save your game and keep going reloading until you take his wicket first ball. When you get this you'll get both the King Pair and Nought And Nought achievements.

My prefered way of taking wickets in this game is by using Greame Swann and balling the wrong un (X) using Attacking field setting 7. If your game is set to Easy the batsmen will often give you catch opportunities from this, so shouldn't take too long to get this. I used this method for all the bowling achievements.

Got this one bang on mate, i got this the same way. If they don't edge to keeper they almost always go for the drive, used Swann for the hat trick too.

A golden duck is getting the batsman out for 0 of the 1st ball he faces. May take some practice.

Put it on easy & save often.

A golden duck is where a batsman is dismissed on his first ball for a duck. This makes this trophy a lot harder than 'Nought and Nought', but like that trophy you need to dismiss the batsman for a golden duck in both innings. Use the methods stated for the other bowling trophies for this to get the first wicket, then like 'Nought and Nought', save just before you bowl to the batsman in the 2nd innings. Then reload if you don't get him out for a golden duck first time.

Same as the "Nought and Nought" but this must be done on the batsmen's first ball, this can be challenging. This may be easier while booting with a partner but keep trying until it unlocks.
