From the main menu, select the option titled 'Training'.
Select any of the options from the list.
As there is another achievement for completing all tutorials it makes sense to start with the very first batting tutorial.
Select 'Batting Tutorials', then 'Basics' and then 'Batting Basics'.
Once the tutorial starts, follow the instructions. You will normally face 3 balls for each batting technique. Once you have faced a total of 50 balls, the achievement will unlock.

Could do that, makes more sense to do the tutorials though as there's an achievement for that so it kills two birds with one stone.

Just start the Batting Basic Tutorial and just let the AI throw you 50 pitches in a row. It can be left alone to finish throwing you 50, don't even swing.

Open up the training mode and select batting practice Simply face 50 balls, irrelevant of whether you hit them, get out or miss them. Alternatively, select bowling practice and bowl 50 balls.
