Just start a new ashes campaign as either and simulate the test series
If you dont get the achievement just start a new campaign and it will pop pretty quickly
Just a quick point, I wasn't having much luck when I was England and saw David Warner on the Aussie side usually does well so I switched and got it in the next couple of sims (he hit for 1294 runs that series

This requires a level of patience and skill and can not be simulated. Play the Men's Ashes series and select one batsman who is likely to score a lot of runs, for example David Warner for Australia. From here, make sure you take care and get good scores in every innings with that particular batsman. If you score 150 per match over the two innings with the chosen batsman you will reach 750 by the end of the series but a couple of big scores early on in the series will take the pressure off. I got a big 350 with Cook in the second test which then made it a lot easier in test three and four to wrap up what I needed. The trophy won't be yours until the end of the series though, so continue to play through the tests (avoiding simulation). Note: This only counts in the Test series so if you don't reach the score by the end of the 5th test, you will need to start the whole series again.
