How to unlock the Faster Than Light achievement in Assassin's Creed Chronicles: India - Definitive Guide

This is best achieved during a replay of the chapter on Normal mode, so you can slide-kill any of the guards in your way and also keep track of their line of sight. Keep running, and jump/drop down whenever possible to avoid climbing. There's some wiggle room here, and resetting the checkpoint also resets the clock to its time when you originally triggered the checkpoint.

This is a speed run sequence and completing it under 9 minutes does not allow much room for error, so playing it multiple times is recommended so as to be familiar with the map layout and tricky areas.
If you combine this achievement with "Not Your Usual Assassin", do not scale on weak surfaces when there are enemies nearby, as falling debris can kill them. In the final section, do not activate any floor traps, or enemies will come to investigate and kill themselves. You must use detours to get around, or jump across the floor traps.
