The smoke bomb will likely be your best friend during your Plus Hard playthrough, especially if you're playing through the Trilogy Pack version of AC Chronicles: India. As in every other Assassin's Creed game, the smoke bomb engulfs your enemies in smoke for a few seconds, allowing you time to run away. Additionally, there are a few enemy types that cannot be killed from behind/stealthily unless you hit them with a smoke bomb first.

Smoke Bombs are unlocked during Memory Sequence 2. Use the D-pad to select Smoke Bombs, hold 
to aim, and press 
to throw. Enemies affected by smoke are not able to see for a short while, and can be walked past without bumping into them. Reloading checkpoints to grind this achievement is permitted.
