How to unlock the A Piece of the Puzzle achievement in Assassin's Creed II - Definitive Guide

There are a few selected buildings that are home to the special Glyphs that you can decode. Not that it is not a requirement to do them all, but if you want to Plat this game then you will be.

To scan a Glyph, all you do is hold the cn_T button to activate Eagle Vision and then you approach a Glyph. Then you will have to figure out the code by solving a mini-puzzle/rhyme/riddle (whatever you would like to call it).

The easiest location of a Glyph is when you make it the Villa Auditore. Stand and face the front of the mansion. Hold cn_T and look up and to the left. You will see the Glyph plastered on the outside wall. Simply climb up to it and then solve the puzzle.

I can't for sure say what puzzle you will get because none of the puzzle are specifically tied to a Glyph. The first few are fairly easy but they can be crazy difficult between your 15th and 20th Glyph.

You can unlock this as early as DNA Sequence 2. Whenever you scan a glyph, you activate a puzzle that you need to decode which is a segment of a vision called the ‘Pieces of Eden’.

Following “Tip of the Iceberg”, you need to solve the puzzle presented to you which involves selecting five pieces of artwork that have similarities with one another. There is no time limit. When you pick out the correct “mythic scenes”, you will unlock the first file of the vision and this achievement.

The first glyph available is at the top of La Rosa Colta, the building where you agree to meet Annetta at (to start the memory ‘Fitting In’ in DNA Sequence 2).

Refer to “Vitruvian Man” for a video showing the locations and puzzle solutions for all 20 glyphs.
