To unlock The Conqueror trophy in Assassin's Creed Odyssey, you must first purchase the first episode of The fate of Atlantis (or own the Season Pass) and download Episode 1.

This achievement is missable.

To unlock this achievement you need to make sure that before you begin the final quest and conquest battle, 'The Rebellion's Uprising', that you have completed the optional quest 'Free their Minds, the Rest Will Follow'. This quest tasks you with liberating eight mind controlled humans from each of the three regions; 'Pheraia's Retreat', 'Deuklion's Heritage' and 'Minos's Faith'.

You do this by knocking them out and then pressing to remove their mind control, much like recruiting lieutenants in the base game.
