How to unlock the Pyromaniac achievement in Assassin's Creed Origins - Definitive Guide

Mummies are the bigger common enemies that replace the the Heavy enemies in the main game world.

They're only found in afterlife areas, the final blow must come from fire damage, either by using a Ranged or Melee weapon or by using your torch when he is really low on health.

best method is a bow with a fire mod, avoid headshots, let the burning effect wear off before hitting them again. It is also wise to pick off the smaller enemies around them if you accidentally get too close and get them all after you.

The trickiest part about this achievement is actually finding a mummy, since it's not obvious which enemies are mummies. They are the big brutish enemies that appear only in the Afterlife regions, and they typically have large blunt weapons they swing at you.

To unlock this achievement, you have to make sure that fire kills one of these mummies. There are a few ways to do this:

  • Use the epic sword you get from the main game that is always in fire
  • Use the epic bow (Smoke and Mirrors) from the main game whose arrows are always on fire
  • Shoot clay pots near a mummy to set it on fire

I tried attacking a mummy with my torch, and I swear it died from fire damage but the achievement didn't unlock.

Regardless of which method you use, you must make sure that the mummy dies from burn damage, not from weapon damage. So damage the mummy continually down to low health and then let the fire finish him off. Alternatively, if he's near something flammable, you can try throwing a torch near him to set the environment on fire and he'll catch fire too, finishing him off.

The trophy is easily made on mummies-mobs (there are plenty of them in the afterlife). We just throw fire bombs. No need to suffer with the Shadows of the Pharaohs.

The mummy is not an ordinary enemy. And a 2-meter man with a mace.
The easiest way to find it is in the world of Nefirtiti on the Eclipse Pier (immediately to the left from the entrance).

The easiest way is with predator arrows with a fire effect, a couple of arrows and the kebab is ready

Better yet, equip Bayek with a weapon with a fire effect, such as the Sword of Hepzepha. This is what happened in my case.

You can also do it in the real world during the story mission, where you have to kill a certain Isidora in the temple. I noticed at least two of these dudes around her.

But only if the last HP damage is from fire, and not from the sword.

these mummies are always at the entrances to the tombs (I don’t remember exactly, but in the tomb of Ramses there may not have been, but in the other 3 they definitely were, when you walk across the bridge from the water), throwing fire bombs or killing a predator with a bow with a fire effect, not will be difficult

Most of the mummies can be found in the Cave of the Brave location in the afterlife world of Kheb-Seb. There are about 4-5 mummies there.
