How to unlock the Reduce, Reuse, Recycle achievement in Assassin's Creed Origins - Definitive Guide

"Trinkets" are the last section of your inventory on the right sight under Papyri and Animal Goods (you may have to scroll the section down to see all of them). Generally you find trinkets by looting small containers e.g. sacks/vases/boxes. Use Eagle Pulse whenever you're in a fort/villa/ship/hideout/whatever to help pinpoint containers to loot and grab everything.
For this trophy you don't have to have 100 of one trinket type, just 100 or more in total. Once you've got enough, go into a town and find a merchant (Weaver/Blacksmith/Stables), enter the Sell screen, and hold the cn_down to "Sell unnecessary items", which sells off all trinkets and animal goods. (Side note: some animal goods are necessary for various quests.)

Trinkets are random little items you can get while looting containers. While completing "Old Habits" save up every trinket you loot and sell them all at once after you're done and you should have more than 100 easily!

Trinkets are small items that aren't used for anything other than to be sold for gold. They are found in chests (all kinds, not just the ones that are tied to location objectives, killing enemies, etc. In the inventory menu (not the gear menu), look to the right and scroll down until you see trinkets. Make sure you have 100 of them before selling them all at once by holding in any shopkeeper menu.

NOTE: Make sure you have 100 TRINKETS, animal skins and that sort of thing do not count for this.

Collect trinkets from the very beginning! Barrels, flasks and chests drop a tiny amount of them, do not sell until you are absolutely sure that you have 100 of them.
PS I sold about 70 pieces at once before I found out about this trophy and now it’s very difficult to collect them again.

The first comment understates the reality. starting from the Alexandria location and down to Memphis collecting all the "?" and military posts, you can collect over 200+ trinkets. So you shouldn’t bother searching too much. Also, all the loot spawns constantly in the same place.

You don't have to sell 100 different types of trinkets. The total number must be 100 or more.

IMPORTANT!!! Hunting trophies do NOT count. There were 200+ trophies and 15 trinkets, no trophy dropped. Make sure you have over a hundred trinkets before selling.

Look that in your inventory the total amount of rubbish (skins and resources do not count) is more than 100. Go to the blacksmith, select the sale section and hold down . Trophy in your pocket

Most can be found in enemy fortresses of level 3.

If anything, I didn’t have enough trinkets (12 pieces) after beating the game and clearing the entire map (I sold it a couple of times at the beginning). Then we start a new game+ and get on the boat and clear out the underwater areas with treasures. There, in each chest there is a trinket (one contains treasure, the second contains what you need).

Before the last main task and after clearing all locations, I collected 412 trinkets in my inventory. Didn't sell anything from the very beginning. So, you can complete this trophy several times.

Items do not spawn in one place, fixed. And all objects must be different. I thought at the beginning that the quantity plays the same role, but when I sold it, nothing. And I had to start the game again, if a new one plus start, very few items spawn, mostly only gold coins and materials. So don't repeat my mistakes.

If you have the Invisibles add-on, then you can collect about 200 trinkets with this add-on. Then you return to the main game and sell.

I thought the trophy was cumulative and sold everything during the game.
When is there 30-50 "?" characters left to clear? I realized that things were not going well.
In short, it drops with 100% from 1 of 2 underwater treasures and with a 20% chance from ordinary treasures. And the main looter shooter for treasures are ordinary vases and baskets in a pile, when clearing the "?" of all the paraphernalia around, treasure almost always fell. I also noticed that in unremarkable places with loot from pots and baskets (For example, a homeless person in the desert) there is almost always a treasure.
So even if, like me, you mess up at the end of the game, it doesn’t matter! Loot carefully, because it is in that lonely pot on the outskirts that the next treasure may be waiting for you.

I do not confirm the above comment. It is not necessary that all 100 items must be different, moreover, during the entire playthrough of the game and clearing the map, I collected about 37 different types of trinkets, I admit that it is simply physically impossible to collect 100 different types, there are not so many of them in the game. Here we are talking specifically about the total number of trinkets, and it is not necessary to sell exactly 100 of them, you can sell more at a time (the main thing is not less), the trophy will still fall out. I had somewhere around 200 pieces after completing the story. Advice: don’t rush with this trophy, knock it out one of the last, when the total number is already definitely more than 100 pieces, don’t sell them during the game, there’s plenty of money in the game! I recalculated by hand several times before selling just in case.
