How to unlock the The Harder They Fall achievement in Assassin's Creed Origins - Definitive Guide

There are multiple sections on the map that have a Red Icon with an Elephant Logo. Look for the one that has Qetesh & Resheph names on it. You should be able to fast travel near by, then when at the gate, hold Triangle to enter the arena.

Highly recommend you are level 38 or higher as these two enemies are at level 40. Max Overpower skill upon entering combat is needed(or whatever the skill is called). Fire Arrows and a sword that has fire on attack are highly recommended.

Take one at a time using dodge and smoke. When in close use the overpower to get a big strike. Dodge and use smoke and attack with light combos - watch for the raised leg as it will stomp you.

When at distance use fire arrows on the legs.

Rinse and repeat with over power and you can take both of them down.

In UAB Nome, (just North of the Desheret Desert) go to the Camp of Qetesh & Retesh. Simply defeat the 2 War Elephants, they are both level 40 so be prepared! Make suer to level up your health, get some good abilities, weapons and prepare to dodge a lot! I was level 45 and was not so good at evading all of their attacks but still managed to defeat them without too much of a worry.

I created this video to help:

Hope this helps.

This boss is located in center part the southern section of Uab Nome.

First off, don’t bother attempting to fight any of the war elephants unless you are level 40 and have legendary weapons of the same level. Health on hit works best, but any will do. They will destroy you and you won’t do enough damage if you aren’t that level or have extremely good gear to boot.

The fight consists of two war elephants. One is weaker and hangs close to you while the other keeps his distance. Focus on the one that stays close to you exclusively until you kill it, then kill the other one. The second elephant is harder, so just be careful with the charging attacks and always dodge to the left and hang by its feet, slashing at his ankles while avoiding the arrows, bombs, and stomps.

Once the fight is completed, the achievement will unlock.

Killed me at level 38.
2 elephants, one constantly shoots and throws bombs at you, and the second rams you. I eliminated the second one first. In theory, you need to kill them with a bow and arrow, but I managed to do it simply with powerful blows, dodges and R1+R2 mace attacks.

Used a rapid-fire bow to heal after a hit. This is a long time, but the chances of dying from a problem dodging a shot, or an enraged elephant, are significantly reduced. The tactics are the same as 1.
We kill the elephant that is behind the initially aggressive one to remove the snipers. Next, we calmly deal with the first elephant with bombs. If you do it as the game suggests, then the number of shots and the need to dodge per unit of time will drive you crazy.

If it doesn't work out at all, switch to easy difficulty. Weapons with healing for damage (not for kills or crits) and a bow, also for healing, will pass the first time.

I played on hard and used slightly different tactics. There was a rapid-fire bow for healing, which removed 220 HP with a simple hit and 550 crit, while it allows you to quickly accumulate rage. I spent my rage on a blow with an axe, which with one blow removes about 3000 HP. At the same time, I did not kill them one by one, because after the death of the first, the second becomes much fiercer and more active, but I evenly removed health from each. And when there was a minimum left, he finished off one with arrows, and the second immediately with a blow from an ax in a rage.

We pump up Bayek to level 40-45, open the master hunter and gunsmith levels to 8-10 points, switch the game to easy difficulty and these elephants can be chopped into mince with a regular sword with the “healing on hit” effect.

Just completed this test. The whole point is to come to the elephants with a level above 40 (my level was 43) and golden rapid-fire bows. I didn’t switch to any easy level, I knocked it out on the high level the first time.

When he goes to ram, we run away to the side, using a square, we hold a shield against the shooters; when we are focused, in order to avoid the elephant’s attack, you can use rage, again, rage accumulates due to the bow well, the arrows are not endless - we pick up bags from the ground and blocked ones from the shield, Debuffs on elephants don’t work, set your weapon to heal. Hit the hind legs there with crits, rage preferably there too. Sometimes a smoke curtain disorients the elephant a little. The last two elephants are in the nom uab location. https://youtu.be/Yt0kVzkqPEU

Elementarily passed on medium difficulty the first time, missing two or three kicks.
Two elephants at the same time, both level 40, which hints at the extremely desirable fact of leveling up to the same level...
One constantly moves away and does not get into hand-to-hand combat, and his rider showers him with arrows and bombs, the second lazily pursues and rams, and at times the rider lazily shoots. We listen to the shouts of the riders, when they yell “Shoot” - we look at the whining elephant, raise the shield and strafe from the fiery arrows, when they yell “Forward” (or something like that) - we turn our heads in search of the second elephant and somersault from its rams, cutting off the on his legs.
We easily and naturally kill a snarling elephant with a bow on its legs/trunk (when it rears up after firing at the rider - a couple of arrows in the throat - they crit well) without a single blow, ramming - with a lazy strafe in any direction and kicking on the hind legs.
The second easiest elephant fight in the game.

One elephant keeps his distance, the other attacks close, the one who keeps his distance has a weak spot under his trunk, shoot there when he raises it, try to keep the health level of both elephants the same, otherwise when one dies, the other goes into a berserk state and it will take much longer to kill him more difficult. He killed with a light bow and dealt a furious blow with the sword of the khapzefs; elephants spend their health much more easily than single individuals.
