How to unlock the Completionist All the Way! achievement in Assassin's Creed Valhalla - Definitive Guide

This achievement requires you to collect all wealth, complete all mysteries, and collect/complete all artifacts on all five maps in the game (all of England, all of Norway, Vinland, Asgard, and Jotunheim). If you synchronize all viewpoints in the game, this will reveal all wealth and mysteries on the map. Unfortunately, artifacts are only revealed by either going close enough to them on the map (usually around 450m or so), paying the cartographer in your settlement (once you build his building, but this is only good for England), or paying money to one of the random NPCs around the area with a question mark above their head (which again is only good for England). I personally found that, while taking care of all of the wealth and mysteries in a given region, I ended up close to enough to artifacts to take care of around 98% of them without any issue. There are, unfortunately, a few artifacts in England that you may not end up traveling near enough to have them marked on your mark. Because artifacts aren't marked on your map unless you're near, I highly recommend taking care of any white dots on your compass that you come across during your travels. At a minimum, go close enough to reveal what the white dot is, and it'll stay marked on your map.

For whatever artifacts you're missing, check out THIS LINK over to an interactive map at IGN, which will help pinpoint what you missed. To cross-check with your own ingame map, for every wealth, mystery, or artifact you've done, there will be a little black X on your map, allowing you to know for sure if you've already gotten a collectible there. For wealth, especially in Jotunheim, make sure you do all World Events and story arcs in that area, as sometimes wealth becomes available (or is much easier to get) after you've done a quest or World Event in that area.

The vast majority of the collectibles are very easy to complete. I highly recommend waiting until you've obtained the Incediary Powder Trap ranged ability before bothering with collectibles, especially artifacts, as a ton of Roman masks are hidden behind destructible walls, and this ability negates the need to hunt down those explosive red vases, making the difficult trivial. There is another ability, Dive of the Valkyries (a melee ability) that allows you to break open a barred door from the front instead of finding a way around it or a way to shoot it open from behind. This again makes collectible hunting far more efficient. Both of these abilities' Books of Knowledge can be found in Grantebridgescire near the beginning of the game.

Glitch Information
I would now like to cover some information on common glitches I've come across or read about or have seen reports about.

  • Reloading an earlier auto save is the best way to take care of bugs related to World Events that won't progress/complete, wealth that won't collect, artifacts that don't seem to be there or can't be interacted with, etc.
  • There are sometimes World Events that will say "You must be anonymous to interact" to complete the quest, even though you are anonymous. You'll need to reload an auto save for this, or you could fast travel away to reset the World Event and then come back and start it over again.
  • There is a wealth in Vinland that has a tendency to not count/mark off as complete, on a large enemy in the western fort. This method of forcing it to count works, as I had to do it myself to get it to count for me. Full credit to the person on reddit who figured it out (since it is a ridiculous method, but it does work). Kill the enemy (and others in the fort that are attacking you, if need be). If you don't get the wealth from him, or you do but it doesn't mark as complete, assassinate him (rb.png on his limp body), and then carry his body out of the fort through the entrance he was patrolling near. You should spot two enemies off to your left with Odin's Sight. Put the body on the ground and use an Explosive Trap on it (you'll need to obtain this skill from the skill tree, on the upper left side of the yellow tree). Whistle to the enemies so they come over, and let them set off the explosive trap. Now kill both enemies. Once they're dead, quick-save your game (hold dpad-down.png and press button-x.png). Now quit to the main menu. From there, choose to Continue your game, and you should be outside the fort where you saved, but the enemy with the wealth is spawned back in the entrance. Kill him (preferably shoot him with arrows, if you have a bow), and then loot him. You should get the wealth and it should count.
  • The cairn in Hordafylke, in northern Norway, called Torghatten Rock, is notoriously glitchy. It is very simple to complete, as you can simply stack three of the four flat rocks on each other to reach the needed height. The problem is that it either won't let you validate your solution, or you'll be able to validate but when you do, it doesn't mark off as complete and you don't get the "Cairn Complete" message along with your skill point. The latter problem is the one I ran into, but the solution is the same. Head to the cairn and interact with it. Stack up the three flatter rocks such that they aren't high enough to reach the end point. Hold button-b.png to quit while they are stacked. Quick-save your game, then quit to the main menu. Continue your game and you'll be back at the cairn with three rocks stacked. Interact with it, and wait for the dialogue to finish. Put the fourth rock on top, and you should be able to successfully complete this cairn.

I do not recommend doing this trophy further until you reach the altar in Jorvikshire, where you need to put 5 fabrics, or more precisely, until you completely upgrade the provisions/quiver. In my case, it turned out that the fabric dropped almost always. And after completely upgrading the provisions/quiver, the fabric stopped dropping. In the word completely. And, unfortunately, I do not know how to finish this trophy now. The fabric starts dropping from the influence of the area 130. I opened all the secondary chests.

UPD:

I was told in the official group for the game that they created this topic on the forum and the information was passed on to the developers, because it turned out that I was not the only one who encountered this.

UPD 2:

With the release of patch 1.0.4 (26.11.20) this bug was fixed. But! In East Anglia and Vinland they added 1 ingot each. And now another point. In East Anglia it is easy to take the ingot. But in Vinland you can't take the ingot from the enemy, because he is simply dead. It is exactly the same with a friend! So once again the trophy cannot be knocked out! I went to the forums and players are also complaining about this.

UPD 3:

Thanks a lot to this YouTube commentator, namely TaYeuleCaliss, who suggested how to get this ingot in Vinland. I'll describe the sequence:

1. Go to him and set a trap (R3)
2. Blow it up and it disappears.
3. Run away from this place
4. Wait for the game to QUICK SAVE
5. Load this save

Done. Now this NPC has appeared again.

In version 1.2.2 it is impossible to complete the quest "faith is strong" in hamptonshire. It is impossible to talk to NPC. I tried everything - nothing helps.

Not a bugged quest, just a box with nudist clothes needs to be placed next to Winchell's tent when the message "To complete the task, the item must be on the ground" appears.

Glitchy quest in Lunden with bards.
After you find all the bards and they start performing, you have to stand among the audience. The performance doesn't start, there is simply no concert video...
Found a way to get around the bug!
The quest cutscene does not start, but you can move. We call a horse, mount and gallop away from the city. One - and the cutscene starts loading. The quest is complete.

I encountered a bug in the world event "Saga of Fools, Part Two", it was impossible to lift one of the brothers from the ground, there was no action icon at all. I left the red area, made a quick save, loaded it and the interaction icon appeared.

There are a couple of moments with closed fortresses/monasteries and a couple of world events in Asgard and Jotunheim. Don't worry, they will appear in the story.
There was a funny mission in Asgard where you have to take a drunkard by boat from the island and I didn't have him. I almost had a heart attack. Then I completed a couple of missions, found a note from him and he showed up.
I also advise you to first clear the zones of all this garbage, and then calmly follow the story. And make it a rule to keep two saves just in case. One after every 5-6 activities and one after completely closing the zone. Be sure to check the filling of the brick after completing the world event/collecting the chest.
P.S. If you want to save a couple of dozen hours - buy a card of everything in the game.

Bug with the quest Lady of the Lake:
The essence of the bug is that the door did not open in the house, although I killed snakes and a boar, did not kill, the NPC does not want to start a dialogue. The path of dancing with a tambourine did not help, as a result, I followed her to the place where she stopped where she should speak, but she only stands and sings. I stood next to her and with the help of a torch thrown on the ground I set myself and the arrows on a light bow on fire, used the perk for burning arrows and began to shoot at the woman and under her, which led to her ignition, she began to burn and run away, damage numbers flew and she burned and I shot until she burned: as a result, the quest was protected in this way. I hope I helped someone

I also encountered a bug, it happened in the city of Jorvik, there was 1 ingot left to pick up, and it was locked with 3 keys, I have 2 keys out of 3, the 3rd key cannot be picked up, this is the place, resaving, trying to blow it up and through quick saving again does not work, initially this NPC is dead, you can’t turn it over or pick it up, nothing at all, there is only the possibility to set a trap on it, in short, we are waiting for the next update.

If the game says "you must not be recognized" you need to put on the hood, if you have already been noticed, then you need to hide until you are lost and do not take off the hood.

According to Jorvik, there are three keys to the chest, there is no bug there, if there is a key icon, but you can’t pick it up, then you have already picked it up, my chest is open, but in the locations where the keys were lying, the icons are still hanging, so this can be confusing.

As for nudists, you first have to undress with them and hang out, then steal the chest, then get dressed, put on a hood (so that you are not recognized) and you can put it up.

I completed everything except on Vinland Island, it turns out I forgot to pick up an ingot in one of the camps, trying to pick it up several times I couldn’t, since all the bots were killed, I looked at the tips above and decided to reboot after a quick safe and the bots all came back to life, and as a result I killed everyone and took the ingot.

Attention, bug in Jorvikshire! When you take Camp Stenwege, you must collect an ingot from the NPC (it is advisable to clear the location before the siege, I think). Otherwise, later in the camp there will only be Viking allies and NPCs WILL NOT spawn!
[upd] Fixed by moving the ingot to the neighboring barn. But if you have already fallen under this bug, then the icon on the world map will not glow - teleport closer to the wallweg and follow the compass, it will be there.

Bug with picking up 3 keys in Yorvikshire at the ritual site. The key cannot be taken. There is an icon, but no key.

The quest with nudists is buggy. I brought the box to the NPC, the quest didn't count. When I tried again, the box was gone. According to the forums, many people have this problem. There is no solution yet. Returning to Norway and back doesn't help, nor does removing the main character's clothes.

I had the inscription "You must not be recognized" appear in the quest with the girl and the deaf horse, I drove the horse close to the stairs, and she could not sit on it. I drove it a little further, the girl sat on the horse and the quest was completed.

At the moment there is a bug in the game which, when it appears, 100% does not allow you to get this trophy, the bug is connected with the event called "Merry Fellows from Sherwood". The essence of the bug is that wolves can attack the NPC and kill him, and later when you undertake the quest and shoot at targets, the mission simply will not continue due to the fact that the NPC with whom you will have to talk is dead, at the moment there is no answer on the Ubisoft forum, there is no new patch either, restarting the game, rearranging, moving to another location do not help, the NPC remains dead.

In Asgard, the cow is bugged. There is no dialogue with it, the cow just stands there, even though all the obstacles are completely broken. Once I managed to drive it away, it ran to the lake, and not to the place where the quest ends. The game is completely bugged, make manual saves more often. Everything is fine with nudists, I just stole a box and put it there, didn't undress.

Addition to the quest with the cow in Asgard: I completed a couple of story missions in this location, the cow started talking. Initially, just having appeared in Asgard, I went to fluting, he is with Thor, but there was no dialogue icon, and it appeared after a couple of story missions. Therefore, do not rush to throw the gamepad against the wall, perhaps some world events do not open according to the plot.

Regarding rags: in Shiropshire, Snottinghamshire, Yorkshire, Lincolnshire the rag did not drop, but the quiver and provisions are almost not upgraded, level 360. The last rag dropped in Gloucestershire and stopped at 84 + 3 scales spent on the quiver and provisions. So it is a myth that the rag stops dropping after full upgrade. Most likely there is a certain amount of it. Just in case, keep 5 rags in reserve.

Valka didn't give me a quest to collect herbs. There is no way to get to Asgard now. I've played through the entire game, cleared and collected everything, but Asgard is unavailable. Conversation with Valka is inactive, herbs are available, just silence and inaction.

Actually, the trophy is buggy. Some players have a problem with the daughters of Lerion. Either there is no interaction button to start the fight, or like me, the secret just didn't count.
In the video below.

Fighting glitchy quests:

Green Children of England - the children refused to talk. We get on a horse and push the children into the fire - then they are unlocked.

Horn of Ragnar: the killed NPC did not die (he was lying as a corpse, but when Odin looked at him, a green dot glowed above his head) and the second NPC accordingly did not want to talk and hand in the quest. It is solved by taking the half-killed NPC and carrying it into the river, he drowns until the characteristic "Ah!" and blood spreads around - and the second NPC is unlocked.

In general, in any unclear situation we create stress for NPCs.

For those who have a problem with fabric. I collected a lot of fabric when I was looting chests on the Isle of Skye in the quest "Inevitable Meeting"

To begin the quest "An Inevitable Encounter", players will need to upgrade their settlement to level 4 and complete the quest "A Wise Friend", where you will be tasked with helping Valka settle into Ravensthorpe. There will be a tent next to Valka's hut, and approaching it will trigger an interaction with Edith, who hails from the Isle of Skye. After speaking with her, players will be able to travel to the Isle of Skye to investigate the nightmares that Edith's people are having.

Just like Alarius, I found a bug.
In addition, the same thing happened during the quest "Miracle", which is located in Shiropshire.
Saving and loading helped. The button for raising a person appeared.

I would like to point out that it is probably better to clear the map immediately if possible, rather than doing it in the final stages of the game.
After the storyline, additions with druids and Paris, where you also had to cover the entire map, now everything is extremely tedious. Moreover, England is several times larger than these regions.

In patch 1.04 the clothing bug was replaced with a new one.

If the message "To complete the task, the object must be on the ground" did not appear before, now it does, and after you put the box down, another message appears, "You must not be recognized."

The quest is still impossible to complete in some cases. It seems to be a matter of luck.

Sometimes, during the Amanita quest, in which you need to fight, the enemies become inactive. It helps to hide in the grass so that you are lost from sight, after which you appear and they aggro on you

There is also a bug in a quest whose name I don't remember, but there you need to collect lichen and a bear's scrotum. In the specified cave, the bear is simply not there. LIGHTS OUT. The bear was found dead three hundred meters north of the cave, in the bushes. Be careful.

Encountered a bug in a world event in Lincolnshire. The event is called "False Elderman"

I come to the beginning of the event and see a horse and rider without textures. I read the note - nothing happens.

Found a solution. You need to save right at the scene of the event, then load right away. A normal horse and rider will appear, read the note, steal the horse (triangle), kill the rider with a bow, and gallop up the road to the northeast of the tree with the note towards the cursed sign. There will be an elderman on the side of the road. Talk to him and the event is completed.

A huge number of tips for this trophy are dedicated to bugs, but I have never come across one very useful tip for exploring the world, which, unfortunately, I myself only learned about at the end of the game.

The Fire Trap ability allows you to break through barriers in the game by simply shooting at them.
A book of knowledge with this ability can be found in south-east Grantbridgeshire in Walden, which you will visit during the course of the game's story.

This saves a lot of time, because knowing this you no longer have to look for a jug of oil in order to blow up the barrier and open a passage for yourself, but just one shot at it with this ability is enough.
