Just don't use any grenades or nukes on the first level on easy mode, and you should have more than enough lives to beat the boss with only your regular fire.

Easiest to do in Zone 1. Simply refrain from using 
(Grenades) or 
(Nukes) and you're good to go. It makes the boss fights a little more difficult, but they're not too tough in Zone 1 to start with.

This achievement can be obtained relatively easily in any zone, but Zones 1 and 3 are probably best, zone 3 being the quickest as Zone 1 has two bosses. This achievement can be unlocked on any diffuculty.
