How to unlock the Bulkhead Protector achievement in Assault Suit Leynos - Definitive Guide
This trophy is similar to "Versis Protector" in stage 3. You must prevent the bulkheads at the beginning of the stage from taking any damage from enemies. This includes the planes which can drop bombs on the bulkheads if allowed to reach them. The planes don't always damage the bulkheads, so even if a few make it through you might get lucky, but try to take them out anyway.
For the easiest time with this, equip your LG-GUN or HG-GUN, booster, and fill as many remaining slots as you can with missiles (and the M.POD weapon if you have it). Then use the booster to move as far to the right as you can before the enemies show up. Point your LG-GUN or HG-GUN at a 45-degree angle up and to the right, and keep held down to lock the aim. When the Zako (the green enemies) start arriving, find a spot where they jump directly into your line of fire and start mowing them down in short bursts. Keep checking the scanner at the top of the screen. The Zako are shown as red squares, and the planes are indicated by a flashing yellow square. Be ready to shoot down the planes as soon as they are within range. That's why you want the 45-degree angle, so you can get both the Zako and the planes without having to readjust your aiming.
Eventually the enemies will start arriving in thicker numbers, and at that point you should switch to the missiles. Fire off 1 or 2 at a time, don't just hold down the fire button or you'll run out. If any enemies happen to get past you, quickly boost after them and launch a few missiles when you catch up. The missiles are best for this as they will home in on the enemies so you don't have to worry about aiming, because you'll have enough to deal with. There will be 3 heavy waves of enemies and this method will allow you to take them all out, which you absolutely want to do because you don't want any of them slipping by while you're fighting Lance (the large Assault Suit boss). New smaller enemies will spawn when he attacks, so I like to hang onto the M.POD for this boss because it can take him down in a matter of seconds, before any of the smaller enemies can reach the first bulkhead.
