Classic Mode is closer to the original Mega Drive and Genesis versions of the game, although it still features enhanced graphics and a widescreen aspect ratio. Classic Mode is harder than Arcade Mode as it has more enemies and they attack much more aggressively. However most of the stages are shorter, and some of the bosses from Arcade Mode are not present in Classic.

This mode will be easier after you've gotten in some practice in Arcade Mode. Stage 1 is actually the most difficult stage since you won't have any armor upgrades until you complete it and there are a lot of enemies shooting at you. After that the only difficult section I encountered was the first half of stage 6, and equipping the GL / MGL made that much easier.

If you die/fail in the middle of a stage you can use the continue feature as many times as you want and still get this trophy. Since most of your trophy-hunting will be done in Arcade Mode, don't hesitate to continue in Classic. Again, you can play on easy since the difficulty does not affect the trophy.
