You have to eliminate at least 30 green mechs in any stage. This can easily be done in stage 1. Some others said that stage 5 is also a good place to do it.
Also some people, like me, had troubles unlocking this trophy. Kept killing green guys but it just wouldn't unlock... then I switched the difficulty from easy to normal. I tried again and it worked.
So it's possible that it simply won't work on easy difficulty.

Zako are the smaller green robot enemies which are very common in most stages. You can earn this in stage 1 if you make sure to destroy all of them as you move through the stage. At the end they will continually spawn and attack, so just make sure you get at least 30 before taking out the giant boss ship. Alternatively, you can play stage 5 in Arcade Mode and you should get this without even trying.
