Quick Race didn't work for me, had to do it in Hot Lap.

Before the race during car properties setup (difficulty levels screen) set mechanical damage to any value other than zero. Without damage allowed the trophy cannot be achieved. I personally got the trophy with damage set to 50% but less might be appropriate as well. The trophy pops after the fifth clean lap is completed.
