This will pop as soon as you pass through the finish line of your first lap of your first race. For me it was in the career mode, first race I ran in the novice series.

The phone rang right after I started. I’m pretty sure I blabbed about 15 minutes. I was in last place of course, cheevo popped as soon as I finished 1st lap. I ran Quick Race in Novice Series 1.
I already had First Hotlap cheevo - I had jumped in focused on that cheevo only. With that achievement, I did not pop any new ones aside from First Race today

This can be unlocked in any form of Race, and you will do this automatically when completing the game's Career and Special Events stages. Complete one lap in Race mode on any car and track and the trophy will unlock.
