You need 20 in your inventory to pop the achievement.
Most resources you need for this achievement are easy to get. The blueprints to craft trinkets come from mimics. I used this guide to find all of them:

I didn't see any craftable trinkets I cared to use in my time playing the game. What I did was save up all my resources, saved the game, and then crafted 20 trinkets, and reloaded my save after getting the achievement.
