A quick tip for anyone struggling with the last challenge as I did.
Collect the magic potion as soon as the challenge starts then enter
, 
, , to activate the combo that drops stones onto the entire area. This will get you past silver almost immediately with plenty of time to mop up the last few enemies needed for gold. This challenge is impossible otherwise.

There are two challenges in each level. 12 challenges there are in the game. First I would recommend to bought everything upgrades health, furies, techniques etc., which increases your chances of success. The challenges consist of 3 waves of different Romans sent onto the carpet. All are timed. If you've defeated all the Romans in a wave, you've won. The first wave you defeat, gives you the bronze rank, the second a silver rank etc. etc. If you have defeat all the Romans, you will get the gold rank.
