This one was a pain in the ass. Everything moves at light speed so you hardly have time to react to anything.
As stated, can only be done in asteroids deluxe on throttle monkey mode. You can choose classic or evolved, but I recommend classic as it's easier to see everything.
I believe you only get 2 lives on this mode, and you need to score 15,000 points in those 2 lives to get an extra life.
There isn't too much advice I can give, but I'll try to give a few tips anyways.
First of all, seeing as everything is sped up, it helped me greatly to turn the sensitivity in the pause menu way down so I could actually control where I was shooting. It's worth a shot if you are having trouble.
Second, in this mode you can basically just hold the fire button the entire time and it will rapid fire shots. Most likely alot faster than you could spam the button, and definitely less tiring.
Third, don't hesitate to use your shield in a pinch. It's there for a reason.
Fourth, if you can, try to eliminate UFO's as quickly as possible. They are a huge threat in this mode, and the less shots they can fire at you, the better.
Lastly, beware the killer satellites. They move at incredible speed. I don't recall how I handled them here, but I believe I did straight up and down lines with the thrusters while firing off shots. Be ready to shield against any stray satellite or any ufo bullets that may find an opening.
There's not much more I can offer. This probably took me close to 50 attempts, if not more. May luck be on your side.
