How to unlock the Star-Crossed Lovers achievement in Astria Ascending - Definitive Guide

Just making people aware that with the September 23/24 update this achievements is now unobtainable.

i have learned that is not the xbox achievement that is broken but the mission in the game itself that is broken (go to your menu by pressing start and your journal, you will find the categorie "achievements" in the game directly and this is here the problem).

Indeed you will see all other name of quest directly link with an xbox achievement and guess what the "star crossed Lovers" do not appear here, it's mark on "Unknown" at the 15th entry.

And this is why the achievement do not pop anymore because the game considers that we have not done the quest... this is so unlucky.

I don't know what to do but this explanation should be help the dev maybe ?

If one of you could contact the dev and explain this that will be awesome !

I Will try on my side of course but if we are numbers it will have a better impact.

So sorry for my really bad english but it is not my native language at all ^^'

No luck, I tried replaying that part 3 different time with a save I had, I tried fooling around my save file and cloud sync, I even managed to turn on the game on both of my Xbox at the same time with the same account despite having the message saying I can't play on both simultaneously...

Just an update, but the developer just tweeted and said a patch is coming soon with lots of fixes for this game. No idea the truth to it or time frame tho.

Yeah I asked them again since it was on sale and they just said 'The patch is not available yet' sorry I'm trying to keep them aware but they are taking their time

Same issue here no achievement this je the last one that i miss, i made a save just before the two lovers en repeat the cutscene again and again but nothing pop...

How could i contact the developer ?

Someone on here got it July 29?

I just passed that part and didn't get anything. The achievements for this game are weird. They're off by a full chapter. Example when I completed Chapter 2 it gave me the achievement for Chapter 3 even though I didn't start 3 yet. Apparently there's no achievement for Chapter 1.

He won the achievement right ? It's patch or not ?

@Mark Daul, I assume that person cheated because their name has been removed from recent winners. The last legitimate unlock was September 2022.

Yeah so even when it does get fixed, we probably have to buy it. Hoping for a retroactive pop without purchasing it.

30 Sept it leaves from memory. You'd likely still need to purchase to enter the game though even with a retroactive fix? Had a few like this on Gamepass that I didn't get to before they left, leaving them on wish list waiting for a 50%+ sale worked well if you have the patience. This one actually just about deserve that price IMO, decent middle of the road game. Still rankles when you played on GP though, it's like paying a hefty $ just for a single achievement rather than enjoyment of the game.
