This can be done on your first fight (which will probably be in the Orchard), swap in Alassia (can be done before battle or during battle by sacrificing a character’s turn) and let her cast Summon Mig (costs 0 MP, so it’s easy) and this will immediately unlock.
The Mig isn’t very powerful, he has the option to recall the summon early if you like. Later on there are other summons but you start with this one.
