How to unlock the The Lost Eggacy achievement in ASTRO BOT - Definitive Guide
As I mentioned in my Astro Bot platinum trophy tips, you can unlock "The Lost Eggacy" at any time in your playthrough once you've unlocked the Dude Raiding level in the Serpent Starway. However, below I'll cover the location of the three egg artifacts in more detail!
Egg #1
Your first egg comes a little bit into the level, after you've passed the first land-locked ship and jumped between a few ropes over a bottomless pit. You'll get to an area filled with enemies (some of which jump out of a treasure chest), above which hangs a crashed plane in a tree (where you can the Special Bot themed on Victor Sullivan from Uncharted).
Note: this is not the crashed plane at the start of the level; it's the second crashed plane you'll find.
After you've cleared out the enemies, you'll find a hidden area below this platform by looking down over the far edge. There's a ladder and everything, so just look for the ladder going down if you're having trouble.
The above photo shows the hidden area, including the ladder, and a wall with four stone faces on it (these will normally be grey, not blue like they are in the picture).
You'll need to get all four of these faces to match in order to reveal a secret door in the wall. However, there are more than a few faces available, so check out the solution below.
As you can see in the image above, the faces you're looking have closed or narrowed eyes. You'll need to cycle through the faces by hitting them several times until they all match.
After doing that, a secret door will open, and you'll find the first egg in there — themed after the Precursor Orbs from Jak and Daxter (which feature as a reference in all the mainline Uncharted games as the "Strange Relic").
Just punch the egg to collect it, and then it's time to move on to the next one!
Egg #2
The second egg is probably the least hidden of the three, so there's a chance you might casually pick it up on your playthrough.
At a later section in the level, you'll come to an area with a lot of turtles swimming around that you'll need to use as platforms. There's a checkpoint here and everything, so it's a pretty central section of the level.
The main path you need to take to the right of the checkpoint, across two turtles swimming in circles. You need to cross these turtles to reach the Special Bot themed after Uncharted's Nadine Ross.
Then, if you climb the platforms above where you find the Nadine bot, you'll see a few raised platforms sticking out of the water. Cross these and at the end you'll find the second egg!
Egg #3
The third egg can be found not far into the giant turtle-shaped tomb, after you solve the puzzle to open its mouth (by moving three stone pillars into place).
You'll land in a pit of skulls, and just ahead you'll find a purple pit filled with spikes and a single rope to climb.
If you climb the rope to the top and turn to face behind you (towards the pit of skulls you came from), you'll see an area with one enemy and, on a pedestal, the third and final egg.
Jump down, beat the enemy by using your spin attack (hold the Square button), then grab the egg from the pedestal! Congratulations, you've just unlocked "The Lost Eggacy"!
