How to unlock the What A Trip! achievement in ASTRO BOT - Definitive Guide

You can unlock this trophy pretty handily during the level Machine Learning. All you need to do is lure seven enemies into the electrified purple cables jotted around the stage as you play. You'll need to get pretty close to the enemies to get them to chase you, then you simply jump over the cables and watch the little fools run into them.

The level is themed after the Horizon series, which has a weapon called the Tripcaster that fires out these kinds of cables to help trip up the various robot dinosaurs that chase you around. So, understandably, if you've never played the Horizon games, you might not realize that's what "Tripcaster" in the description is referring to.

Roughly halfway through the Machine Learning level, you'll find an area that has four of these cables in a cross shape and a bunch of enemies sitting behind them. As it happens, there are seven enemies in this area, so you can get the trophy in one spot. However, if you accidentally trip the cables yourself with your double jump, don't panic — there's another spot later in the stage where you can lure enemies into them.

In my Astro Bot platinum trophy tips, I recommended waiting until your second playthrough of the stage to get this trophy, just so you can enjoy the vibes of the stage. However, it's so simple, you might as well pick it up on your first. You might even do so by accident if you're the kind of player who likes to mess around!

Feather Constellation, last level (machine learning). In the middle of the level, pink electric strings will appear, the first electric enemies do not die on them, but the next ones do, and they are placed there with a reserve, you need to kill 7 in one life, the trophy is not cumulative. Just jump over the strings in one jump, without lasers from your legs, so as not to cut them.

There are only two threads with bots. In the first one, you just need to shoot 1 bot and the other 5 will run towards you. In the second one, there are only two bots. You need to jump to them, aggro them (don't hit them) and jump out of the thread. They will run after you and the trophy will drop right away.
