How to unlock the A Little Gassy achievement in ASTRONEER - Definitive Guide
To build the condenser you need Plastic, Glass & Iron and 1750bytes to unlock the blueprint.
But to make Plastic you need a Chemistry Lab to combine Compound & Carbon (Smelted Organic). And for the Chemistry Lab you need Tungsten, Glass & Ceramic.
So to build your condenser you need to Iron & Tungsten, neither of which can be found on the starting planet and there's no planet that has both.
Once you've built your small shuttle I would recommend a quick trip to Desolo (the moon of the starting planet) to dig up some Wolframite (the raw material of Tungsten) then a second trip to Novus (the moon of Vesania) or Glacio (you find iron on the surface) to mine some Hermatite (the source of Iron).
With these in hand you can build the Chemistry Lab, produce some plastic then build the Atmospheric Condenser. Hook it up to some power and collect some gas.
Tip. Before you take off in your shuttle make sure you've packed what you need. The small shuttle comes with a tier 2 slot that is designed for an Oxygenator so you'll have a tethered supply of oxygen when you land on a new planet. However, clever Astroneers will package this oxygenator and put it on a medium storage along with 7 other items and put the storage in the shuttle. With the 14 slots on you backpack this allows you to take 22 items plus a medium storage to a new planet to set up base.
