I don't think it's bugged as much as it's just slow to ping off. I easily reached the 4 hour mark last night when I was playing this multiplayer but it didnt pop off until this morning whilst I was playing solo.

Same, i got this playing by myself recently (started a new save) and have never played with another person. This was not the case when I played in 2019 so an update between now and then must have changed something.

There are public rented servers where people play online. There you can also complete all other online trophies.
To search for servers, just go to the official ASTRONEER Discord channel
