ASTRONEER

Atrox is probably the last planet most people will visit as it is described by the game as the hardest. Don't be put off though, it's not that bad and it's the only place to get helium. Getting here is no more difficult than getting to any other planet, just jump in your shuttle and pop on over.

There is a lot of hostile flaura on the planet but if you pay attention it's easy to avoid. Although the game states the planet has low sun & low wind I was able to generate power from medium solars so it's not impossible to set up a functioning base here.

What makes the planet tricky is that once you mine down about 100m you get to a very hard layer of rock. I was using a level 2 drill bit and it was taking a while to cut through it. And this is the layer where most of the resourses are. There's plenty of resin on the surface but everything else is down in this rock.

The game also glitched on my during my flight to Atrox. Somehow I managed to burn more fuel than normal which left me stranded on the planet. I then had to build a base with smelter & soil centrifuge as I couldn't find any ammonium. And as I had to get all of the resources from the rock layer this took ages. So if you're coming here make sure you pack a spare booster!
