for anyone who is struggling to get this, you simply need to go to another's player world and then use one of those items that are researchable in the research chamber.
once the counter starts going down, wait for a minute or so then press the red button to stop the research then press green button to resume it, the achievement should pop immediatly.

@LxVaiN that’ll be wrong. I’ve been playing with someone, both of us on XSX, for few weeks now, latest session only a few hours ago. No issue.
The achievement itself I haven’t tried though, so that could be glitched. Although nothing else seems to be glitched about the game so far.

Had some trouble to Research something in someones game.
I was able to put the Research sample in the Chamber but couldnt start it.
After trying it with 3 different people i was able to get this.
So if you have the same problem just try with another person.
