How to unlock the Apple Pie achievement in Atomic Heart - Definitive Guide

There are a total of 100 apples in limbo and it will take you about 5 minutes to collect them. It is important that you get them all before the end of the level because if you advance in the game it will not be possible to return unless you have a save point earlier this level. I leave you a 5-minute video with the location of all the apples.

I got every single apple and my cheevo progress got stuck at 86 percent and won't move. Another broken missable achievement.

Done it a few times last attempt I counted 100 red apples and tracker still says 86 percent so definitely bugged

Yep. Stuck for me at 86% too.... Went through it twice, by reloading a save and the percentage didn't go up, and no achievement. Hopefully this will get patched....

thank you so much for the video. I stopped to check at what looked like the end and it turned out I missed Apple #2. Backtracked to the beginning to grab it and got the achievement rock

Apparently this achievement is cumulative. I just went through it on my second play through and picked the few apples I missed and it unlocked. 👍🍎

FIXED!!!

Stuck at 86% collect March 6th. So far this game has failed to give me 5 achievements 2 of which are story related

I just arrived in the Limbo level for the first time today, collected every apple and am stuck at 86%. I tried reloading the save and collecting them all again but the tracker does not change.

I was stuck at 86% too. Last night I got about 10 apples and suddenly it popped out of nowhere. Latest patch and all.
All I can say is it also counts further progress.
(I had all the weapons in my first playthrough with only the railgun missing and when I made that but not the other weapons in a new playthrough) it popped.Only would need the achievements for hardcore, the 100% and finding all the talking corpses and those pocket watch things.
(But after this I wait for discounts and all the other season pass content.

Update fixec it without me having to do it again. It popped along with the Pavlov one when I loaded my save before the Dewdrop and the tracking for chirpers and corpses also went up a bit. I had to kill the Dewdrop again and load previous saves so I could talk to some corpses and pick up some chirpers again though.

I have just completed the ''Limbo'' level, collected all 100 apples following the video tutorial, and I am stuck at 86%!
Damn, Mundfish cannot even figure out the basic math!

Seriously speaking, I think they have removed some apples from the level just before release, but they did not update the achievement conditions.
I am assuming this, because around the submarine, there is for example a ''jumping bed'' similar to the ones in the garden, but there is no apple on the top of it.

For who is asking why people are still unlocking this achievement today, it could be simply that they did not update the game, so they can still do the save scum method.

Missable
Near the end of the "She Sells Moustache On A Seashore" mission in the VDNH Exhibition complex you'll get knocked unconscious and visit a dream world called "Limbo." Within the dream world of Limbo you'll have to collect all 100 floating apples spread over the level. Some of the later apples can be a pain to reach via various parkour jumps.

Here we can use a Cheese/Save Scum method of getting these. Collect the first 30ish apples from around the staring house, then press cn_start and load the previous save. Now collect the apples from around the house again and you'll notice the achievement tracking continues from where it left off. Rinse and repeat 3-4 times and the achievement will unlock.

If you are looking to do without the save glitch just ensure the achievement pops before entering the red & white pipe at the end of the level. Once you pass through this pipe you can't come back!

I grabbed all apples before the nuclear submarine in the water, then reloaded just to see if the achievement counter would keep going. It did! Picked up all apples and achievement unlocked after I got the first few on the submarine. I picked up all the rest anyway for fun. Easy enough.

It seems like they were trying to fix this achievement during the recent update but ended up breaking it. You can no longer reload saves to move the tracker. A person in YT comments said they were stuck at 86% and sure enough that's where I got stuck after collecting every apple. Hopefully, another update will fix it and we can retroactively get the achievement.

86% for all of them on March 1, 2023. This game has so many bugs, it should have been held back for another two months. Lame. Save Scum does not work on Xbox GamePass for Series X. They patch the glitches to fix, but cannot fix to get it right. Thanks, Developers. Super lame.

Stuck at 84%. I can confirm that the save / scrum no longer works post patch, plus there is one apple that definitely can not be picked up even reloading the save. Its on the way to the shed roof in the garden after the bed bounce. Many attempts but it does not allow me to collect it, however that still means I have missed bunch or more likely, they are not all registering after they are collected. Have to wait for another patch I guess.

Missable trophy. Location Limbo, where we will control “Fluffy”. Our goal is huge red apples scattered throughout the location.

I didn’t bother collecting these apples; the trophy dropped on the 2nd playthrough, when I also collected only a few pieces (I didn’t even reach the submarine). Apparently the trophy is cumulative and it drops when you collect a certain number of apples.

The trophy is cumulative 100%. There are 99 apples in total, to collect 114 you need to go through the game twice to get the remaining 15

Please note that there is an apple in the toilet and behind the toilet, if you look closely you can see that the apple behind the toilet is spoiled. I got the trophy after I collected all the apples except the spoiled one!

I collected all the good ones, but the trophy did not drop. I had to go back to the beginning for the rotten apple. So you need to collect all the apples, including the rotten ones behind the toilet.

If on your first playthrough the trophy is glitched, you can collect it during the second playthrough - these apples count towards the total %.
Patch 1.003.500 on PS5.

In the first playthrough I collected all the apples but the trophy did not fall, in the second I collected 20 apples that were not protected and the trophy fell

The achievement was fixed with the latest patch (From the 4th) Now the apples are being collected. They gave it to me only after collecting all the apples, considering the rotten ones for a sou.

The last patch is not difficult to collect, you can skip at the beginning behind the house one in the toilet, the second behind the toilet, the rest are all in sight

After the release of the Prisoner of Limbo add-on, there are no problems at all with getting this trophy. Apples collected there also count

The trophy is not buggy, restarting the game and collecting all the apples gave 7 achievements at once, both for apples and for the hedgehog and drunkenness fight, etc. The point is in the quick resume, as soon as I launched the game I never fully closed it until the dial.
