You'll encounter a Plyusch during the boss fight encounter within the Exhibition Complex. During mission "Tremors" while looking for Claire's left arm. Non-missable.

As Plyuschs are resistant to gunfire it's recommended to use a melee weapon during this boss fight. Ensure you upgrade one at the upgrade station on the stairs. Do your best to keep him at range so he can't melee/lunge at you. I found putting the incubation pod between me and him worked effectively. Allowing me to charge up a heavy attack before stepping round it to hit him.
At around 50% health he'll pounce on you triggering a quick time event with 4 different button presses. Continue to rinse and repeat the melee steps above. Once he's died the achievement should pop.

As usual, I am reading the guide after after getting the achievement, but I up voted it as its pretty spot on... definitely helped using telekinesis and using melee while he is airborne. Not hard on normal.

You can get this earlier , in the open world area after the train crash , if going for the testing grounds. Instead of bringing down the hovak go to the southern area of the map.
Deal with the mutants and get the cameras online then find the one to open the door.
Navigate through the testing area and you will enter a room with a plyusch.
I found climbing up a high crate and shooting the sprout things , then deal with the monster. I had the spinning blade melee and it took some time but finally killed it.

If it’s either he doesn’t spawn in (as in he isn’t in the tank at all) or he pops out and then instantly disappears i have a solution.
Go to the pause screen and click “Load Game” (this is also in the main menu) and scroll all the down to the very very last save you have. Mine was right when you enter the big area where Claire lays at the bottom and the objective is to go meet her. Then once whatever objective you have completed is done, go to the way point on the second floor to get her left arm. Do NOT go for any parts other than her left arm. You will know the glitch is fixed if right when you enter the boss room, he is already in the tank. When it was glitched for me you can see him spawn in right when you enter the room causing him to disappear after.
Keep in mind that I have tried to use the save that is right before the top save and it won’t work. IT HAS TO BE THE VERY LAST SAVE!
