Achievements patch notes from the update pushed by the devs today. Hopefully this is good to go now.

My tracker was pushed from 62 to 97%.
Alas I need the Necromancer achievement

Logged in today and got the full 1000g pop. About time!

Might just see some completions today then for people that have only this to go. Seems everything listed as broke above is still broke for now unfortunately though.

So can someone confirm this has been fixed ? Also am I better off doing a whole playthrough on hardcore and everything else separate like collectibles and miscellaneous or just do it in 1 go ?

After today’s update this appears to be tracking correctly. I still don’t have necromancer but I just got the other two I was missing and my tracker for this has just now hit 95%.

Just unlocked Lord of War and 'Unlock all achievements' achievement didn't pop and stuck at 97%. What a joke! Got it

Nvm just start the game and it will pop 'unlock all achievements' achievement at the title screen

I loaded up the game too and didn't get any achievement tracking on my motherland Plus I don't know if the bodies are working or not because it's not going anywhere

@Clad Master A couple people have unlocked it and personally I did get up to 97% now after my new game. I'm going again just to make sure it wasn't an error on my part or a death wiping progress. I'll update after.

So you need to restart from scratch ? I don't know if i'll have the motivation to do that again + i don't want to lose my 100% save

Yeah I tried to grab a known broken one (Talking Corpse #17) on a 100% save and recieved no progress. It wasn't until I regained to where it stopped previously it started to go up again for me.

@Clad master So good news, finally unlocked necromancer and here are the steps that unlocked my achievements...

- Started a new game and got to 97% by collecting all dead bodies
- Collected all 3 animals and saved
- Reloaded my save and necromancer achievement unlocked
- Start a new game for 100% achievement

@Games Master So it's clear now, you need a full new 100% playthrough.
Sad it's not retroactive, but at least it works now.

Not sure if this will help anyone or not but I had unlocked every other achievement besides this one (necromancer was the last) and I had to beat the game/start a new game before this one popped for me. I had replayed the majority of the game to get the bodies so I was near the end anyways, so I went ahead and finished it so I don't know if that has an impact or not.

What did you do to unlock necromancer and burning ears? I have collected all and interacted with all corpses on my main save that has been updated with the patch. Im seeing everyone getting their unlocks now but all I got when I got on today was the apple pie trophy.

Still missing necromancer, chirper, best game on Armageddon and all achievements

It pop after starting a new game

I didn't get the exploration/mission achievements for mid to late game but i suspect it was due to the game getting stuck on that early mission when you have to get the pesticide to kill the plant, i forget the name of the missions. That mission was on my hud the whole first play through so i think it was blocking my other achievements.

After getting the last achievement this was stuck at 97% for me. Closing the application, reopening it and staring a new game caused it to pop right after the initial boat ride.

Has the achievements / tracking been fixed now?

@Ridden uk Had 1 or 2 reports of people not unlocking campaign mission achievements from previous play (before latest patch). Fresh accounts seem to work as intended after the latest patch. If you can’t unlock the ‘unlock all achievements’ achievement I have a workaround for that above.

Nope. Trawled through the solutions. Not popping. Long may it’s unlock rate of 0.05% continue….madness

Little insight on Chirper #70 "May the Sun Ever Shine!", it has been removed from the game and does not hurt your progress

A lot of people have said this already, but just to refresh the feed, I had to start a new game to get to pop

Mine popped on the loading screen after starting a new game, didn't need to play at all.

New game and new game+ did not work for myself.
Deleting save data also was unsuccessful.
If anyone has anymore ideas let me know :)

This just popped upon creating a new game despite me not having the Necromancer achievement.

My best guess is that playing the dlc before unlocking all of the base game causes problems. It seems that it worked in a positive way for Amael though as they managed to unlock "The Motherland Does Not Forget its Heroes" early.

Can anyone confirm that they are having issues unlocking this without having played the DLC yet?

@Games Master I did not play the DLC and do not own it, even though I unlocked an achievement for it. I think the Motherland achievement worked as intended but Necromancer is bugged in my case.

I started my first run few days ago, unloked all achievements (plus Red October and i don't have the DLC) but "The Motherland Does Not Forget its Heroes" stuck at 97%.
I've tried everything: new game, new game plus, final battle 4-5 times, uninstall and reinstall but nothing works. Any suggest?

This one hasn’t unlocked for me despite getting all the other achievements. I did manage to unlock one achievement from the DLC even though I don’t own it, which may be causing the issue. Starting new game, redownloading save data all didn’t work for me. Seems this is broken again until a new patch…

Yeah, I’m at the same place as robix lol. Almost guarantee the one dlc achievement is what’s freaking it out. Pretty dumb, but I’m over it I guess

I was also stuck with this achievement not unlocking after playing on Xbox. Tried all the suggestions (nothing worked) and ended up downloading the PC version as a last ditch effort. Achievement popped pretty much as soon as I started a new game. Of course if you don't have access to a PC that can run it, then it doesn't really help, but figured I'd share the info in case it can help someone else out.

I was able to get the PC strat that enigma69games brought up to work. Playing the game on PC unlocked the achivement.

Stuck at 92% with all other base game achievements unlocked + the one glitched DLC achievement. I guess I'll buy the DLC when it's on sale and hope its achievements fixed the completion.

Can confirm as of October 2023, that if this achievement is glitched for you, starting a new game on PC unlocked this for me.

Necromancer was stuck at 97% and The Mother Does Not Forget Its Heroes at 84%. After collecting the dead animals and starting a new game the necromancer popped and the other was 97%. Closed the game and started it new with a new game and it popped!

If you encounter a situation where you have achieved 100% completion, but your progress is stuck at 97%, deleting your save file and starting a new game on the Windows version can reevaluate and unlock the achievement

My progress was stuck at 97% but I just closed the game and started New game on peaceful atom

This is the second "unlock all achievements" achievement in two consecutive games that is not unlocking as it should. What the hell... stop giving us PS plat achievements!!!

Stuck at 78%. I thought I may need the DLC achievements to make this unlock as 22% was about what the DLC are worth, but finishing the DLC didn't move the needle at all.

Update: Starting the game on PC did the trick!

I'm stuck at 95%. I did everything I found online. I started a new game, deleted saves and started a new game, nothing helps.

So doing some experimenting after having 50/51 for a couple of days can confirm once installed and started new game on PC the Achievement popped immediately on console. Hope this helps. I was at 90% for the tracking for the achievement.

I can confirm: You don't need the DLC to get the achievement. I saw posts on Reddit saying it was necessary.

After I started a new game, as people had suggested, my progress jumped from 61% to 97%. Since I don't own a decent rig, I used Geforce Now, to start a new game on PC, and it worked.
I'm finally done with this game. It's sad that even after almost a year, the devs didn't fix these achievement issues. Good luck to you all.

I was stuck at 97%. Starting a new game + (without closing the game) did not work. Closing the game and then starting a new game did work.

Just finished getting every achievement in one run except this one. So closed/opened the game then started a new game and thankfully it unlocked in the first load screen.

I finally got it! I was stuck at 92% with all the other achievements unlocked(including one from dlc, but I don’t have dlc). Then I read the comments and try to download on PC( I played on Xbox series X with XGP) and it works. When I am loading a new game on PC, the achievement popped out! Try to play on PC. It really does the magic.

+1 for downloading on PC and starting a NG+. Tried uninstalling on xsx and deleting save files but PC worked instantly

An update on 2/6/2024 came out i believe concerning the 2nd DLC. I booted up the game after the update was complete and stated a new game on console and unlocked before they game even finished loading the new play though. Finally after almost two months of waiting this is done!

just to note: I "completed" the game on PC rather than xbox (tracker got stuck at 95% because of the DLC). I just went to the cloud gaming version of the game on my box and loaded NG+ and the achievement popped right away!

There is a recent update that seems to have patched this. I updated and once I loaded up my save, cheeve popped.

02 May, I have tried everything people above have said, and nothing works for me. Still stuck at 97%, nothing wants to trigger the achievement to pop, no matter if its PC or XSX. Wasted 25 hours to get all achievements, and so far wasted it...

I can confirm the information from “Game Master” that starting a new game after unlocking all other achievements helps / forces the game to recalculate and unlock the achievement!

Alexdrinho has confirmed apples are broke and I can personally confirm at least 1 corpse can’t be interacted with still. Hopefully more achievements coming on the next update.

Big shout out to Russo Saints. This one didn't pop until I started a new game after obtaining the broken twins achievements.

So for those it didn't pop for, start new game and as the game loads up, it should pop.

For me the Chirper achievement popped finding all chirpers in one playthrough, going to the village of training ground 9 and picked up the glitched chirper. Be sure to detect it as it does not show up nor does it add the chirper, but you still meet the criteria for getting them all.
Necromancer unlocked the moment I found all talking corpses in one playthrough, and found the dead animals, made a save, started a new game, quit, loaded the last made save. And necromancer popped with the 100% achievement.
Armageddon for me was starting a new game on Apocalypse, quit and loading the save before fighting the twins (you have to do the entire QTE sequence) and beat the twins again.

How long do I need to play into a new game for this to pop? After a force close I've started a new game and a new game+ multiple times, progressed for about 15 minutes and nothing.

Got the chirper achievement as my last but this was stuck at 97%. Just fully closed game, opened and started new game, it popped not long after.

I've now played the game three times on Armagedon, each time starting from the beginning and using the guides to search for and find all the collectibles. I'm only missing "The Motherland Does Not Forget its Heroes" achievement.
Nothing is recalculated when you restart.

I also deleted the saves everywhere and achieved all the achievements again. Nothing happens.
I'm really frustrated.
I hope that the developers will lend a hand again and solve the problem.

Finished the game with 41/51 achievements (was only missing the DLC achievements which I don't own) but the 'The Motherland Does Not Forget its Heroes' progress was stuck at 90%. Starting a New Game worked for me too, but I did on Console instead of PC.

Just popped this a few minutes ago when I finished the Armageddon mode which didn’t unlock the first time, had to try that “New Game on Armageddon, then reload at final door of Twins battle” trick.

The tracker for this achievement kept glitching, Armageddon completion cheevo got it from 73% to 97%. I was stuck like that until I started New Game+ on any difficulty. Starting just New Game didn’t work. It popped as soon as I started NG+

I have also had percentage progress for chippers and talking dead when restarting my playthrough to finally play this game. I gave up back at launch cause it was so buggy. But it’s cumulated through runs so I didn’t get put back at 0.

Whilst the achievements are super buggy, the main game is actually pretty solid now, even in 120Hz mode, it’s a looker for sure. Recommend it now if you don’t mind achievements or a little bit of banging head against wall for them to pop.

Buggy cheevos:

— The one where you kill Hedgie with 5 statues, needed to retry 5 or 6 times to get it to work, just reset the console before second attempt, it’s also pretty delayed so maybe wait a little. Melee only just didn’t work for me, only statues did.

— The one where you kill Belyash with melee only, this one is just a little slow to pop.

— A few talking dead are still not able to be interacted with, it’s pretty dumb. I had about 10% progress already before starting a New Game again, it cumulated so I was good there when following a guide.

— Testing ground related achievements (there’s 3) progress bar may not track correctly. Seems to work later on when you restart the game or reset the console, then press continue in menu to reload your save.

— Mobs scanning seems to cumulate as well, I had about 40% progress before starting a New Game again, it unlocked pretty early in the playthrough when I rescanned the same enemies I done before.

For those curious, if today’s update stopped your percentage increasing for this achievement, even if you get all achievements besides obviously this one, it will not unlock.

It looks as though the progress to this one resets upon closing the game, which was forced by the update earlier.
I’ve earned a load of achievements in the game today, but only had progress added to the tracker for the most recent one.

Once again, yet another Xbox release has a completion impacted by the STUPID fucking rule set by the industry that Sony trophy lists will just be copied and pasted for all consoles. Xbox doesn't need these dumb ass "obtain all achievements" achievements, we don't get "platinums" so this shouldn't even be a thing. This needs to stop.

My game crashed when I was 95% into the "run over 20 enemies with a car" acheivement so I guess I'm S.O.L with ever getting this one

I'm so close to getting this - literally sat at 97% right now :/ The 'necromancer' achievement might be discontinued... can't get it any higher than 80%. Will keep trying to look for more dead bodies I guess.

Thanks :) I started late on the 24th and kept the game running since. Nearly finished my second full playthrough now but at least 4 bodies don't seem to be working as intended. 20% adds up to 10/11 dead bodies though, so there has to be more... Found 50 so far.

Achievement glitches are the worst. This whole game seems like it is about two months too early to release. I have gotten stuck twice in game geometry and had to reload a previous save to get out of it. Too bad because this is almost a good game.

Someone got this achievement today I believe, is it fixed or is there a newly found workaround?

The 4 bodies are still broken post patch (I’m on a 3rd play-through so can personally confirm). The 1 chirper out of bounds is still untouchable so that achievement shouldn’t be obtainable either currently. Save-scumming is patched. I find it very hard to believe they’re legitimate.

I can confirm after loading up my game with this achievement being my last, the achievement has not popped. My best guess is either percentages got fixed and popping the last achievement pops this one too, OR the two completions are cheaters. I am not calling any shots but just my guesses.

Both cheated: they got the completion over a couple days, which given the situation regarding this isn’t feasible.

Probably some kind of unlocker software. While uncommon, it sadly does exist. Both accounts are now most likely under investigation due to this usage.

Devs on reddit 3/1/23 said the upcoming patch has achievements fixes in it, and working on more.

I'm stuck at 75% after two playthroughs. Edit: After a 3rd playthrough its tracked up to 97%, however the Atomic heart hasn't unlocked after playing through on Armageddon.

Seriously. I don't even understand why they do this and duplicate the trophy list, just make a separate list or remove the "gain all achievements".

If one of the devs who made this achievement ever sees this... game devs stopped putting "you got all the achievements" achievements into games over a decade ago for a reason. It's unnecessary and annoying. Just don't.

They put "unlock all achievements" here just because they don't want to re-adjust the scores, it is easy to reuse the psn trophy list, like bronze - 15G, silver - 30G, gold - 70G, platinum - 100G.

I gave this an honest effort to see if it really is unobtainable. Starting from scratch without shuting down the game or crashing, I've done 2 playthroughs and here are the results.

1 - Chirper #23 - metal sheet blocking access

Broken Corpses - Corpses that don't count but show on scanner
1 - Talking Corpse #17 - No dialogue

3 - Talking Corpse #30 - Can't interact
4 - Talking Corpse #44 - Can't interact
These only account for 7-8% of the missing 20% however...

Honourable Mentions
1 - Talking Corpse #38 - Glitchy - Crouch walk from a distance to get it to work

This achievement in itself would of unlocked for me in theory but the 'Necromancer' achievement is more than likely discontinued since the save-scum got patched... Making this unobtainable as well.
