Nope, both times I have found one so far off bosses, it just floats there and I can't add it to my components for crafting. Playing on Series x, and it seems to be a glitch on PC as well.

I've put the game on hold, before I miss out on too many neuromods.

I just killed Hedgie for the 1st time and the same thing has just happened to me as well, clearly these few updates hasn't solved the issue, *sigh*

Amazing how all the other components that you get all the time get sucked up fine, and yet the one rare one just from limited bosses can freeze in mid-air, and prevent you from getting achievements.....

Unless I'm in the wrong spot, the railgun recipe location at the dock is no longer there and is instead a Small Healing capsule recipe.

^ I believe there is some RNG to these blueprint locations, then.

Blue prints are also reset when you quit the game it seems..

Afraid to say that both those locations gave me something else on 2 different playthroughs... It seems that blueprints come from specific chests but within that pool they're randomised. Hopefully I don't need a third playthrough xD

Anyone know any more open world blueprint-guranteed chests?

- South side of map, ring with Testing Ground 9. Directly north of the words Kollectiv Complex above the road in some polymer mid-air.

- North-east side of map, ring with Testing Ground 11. After leaving the theater behind the exit building. It can be located to the west (about 50 feet) before crossing the bridge over to where you fight Belyash. Directly north of Hawk 01.

Both weapons in these were different for both my playthroughs.

Yes that may be true, that the railgun blueprint only appears after a certain number of chests have been searched. I had explored a lot and scrounged for materials, but hadn't progressed far in the story. Just defeated Belyash. The railgun was the last blueprint I needed for craftable weapons.

So let's all keep searching. Ugh! Haha.

Well after giving up searching and progressing the story I finally got the railgun! It was in a gold chest in the Pavlov Complex. From the start I went all the way down the stairs and followed the linear path to a bathroom with the chest and a chirper in the toilet next to it. Yay lol

For whatever reason, I literally never was able to obtain the final material I needed to craft the railgun. Enemies just never seemed to drop the neuromod crafting material, even ones that were supposed to.

SquashyButton you probably played pre-patch, I had the same issue where I didn't get last 3 blueprints when finished game, after latest patch I played new game and got Railgun pretty early in the game, Mundfish claimed to fix the drop but only for new game unfortunately.

This achievement is not working for me on Series X GamePass as of March 5, 2023. I am in the hospital and can line up five mutants and zap them all in one shot. No achievement. Tried multiple times. This game is so busted...

Neuromodule glitch fixed, I was able to get Lord of War and Triple Penetration finally.

For anyone struggling to still find the Blueprint for the Railgun - please see my comment ref “ Lord of War “ achievement.

Best spot to get this once you have it - is while crossing the bridge on the way to the hospital. Save before you cross - plenty of opportunity for 3,4,5 Mutants to line up if you pull a few from the bridge and keep walking backwards.

I did not realise this was an achievement until after the bridge. In fact I had not bothered with it until after completing the main story. I used the option to revisit the facility and found many enemy still in their inactive state, so it was really easy to find targets. Mine was 3 of the little hovering repair bots.

I had no problem finding the rail gun blue print but I only started playing post patch.

Found a very easy way to do this achievement after you got the Railgun. In the Theatre where you fight a Plyusch, you will see a lot of Mothers, don't kill them yet and kill the Plyusch first. Then you will see they spawn a lot of Sprouts, just gather them in one spot and shoot, got it first try.

For the record, the easiest way to get this achievement post-game in the overworld is to trigger a level 2 alarm (kill an enemy in front of a camera), then hide inside the grey relay hut. Just wait for 5-6 enemies to pile up in front of the hut, set the difficulty to easy, and fire the railgun into the mob.

Location of RAILGUN blueprint (this time):

On the map, east side, inside the circle with testing ground 2 and PLANT 01. Directly north of Plant 01, near the center of the circle, there's a save house. Walk out of the save house; there's a bus stop in front of you and a lake on the left with a dock.
There's a rocky cliff with houses on top in front of you. The house nearest the point of the ricky cliff (not the shed) has a yellow chest on top with the RAILGUN blueprint. Climb some hay bails to get on the roof.

That's where I found the RAILGUN blueprint today.

Note: Blueprint locations may be random, or they change location everytime you quit out of the game. I just wanted to share where I found it in case it helps. Good luck to us all. These achievements are annoying.

Thanks E vee! So that gold chest gave me a blueprint and also the chest actually in that very house. So 2 blueprints :) Still no railgun though ffs Also if you're having trouble getting onto the house, aim slightly left as you jump up.

Something interesting happened also, when I reloaded my save and regrabbed them in the opposite order it still dished out the blueprints in the order I recieved before. So perhaps you may just a preset number of blueprint chests before the game will give you the railgun and this changes if you reload the game/create new game.

Not really sure about that, I think it's just randomized but also could be on a set chest loot number, idk. As soon as I had access to the surface I began playing RPG style and exploring/looting everything in sight. I did ALL of the testing grounds (except for 12) BEFORE I fought Belyash, and I had EVERY weapon unlocked. I have just now reached the Infirmary and completed all test sites, and have EVERY weapon upgraded to max and all but 2 polymer abilities maxed out (shield and Jet). I must mention I was playing on the next to highest difficulty, after Belyash I switched to Armageddon difficulty, so loot drops are much lower now. Don't skimp on farming Hives/Drones (yes I forgot the name of those little pests) for near infinite resources.
