Edit:I just found out that there are no more seed scrolls in the game, so here's a new strategy, unfortunately it takes a bit of luck and patience.

New Guide

• Watering Scrolls

Farmland Expansion

Try to play year one aggressively. You're going to need lots of pickaxes seeds and farming scrolls to increase your farmland. And if possible get pigs and hogs to also help expand your land. The goal is to get 150 tilled farm plots before you face Nuclear Winter Boss. You may have to take a quick picture of the game, pause it, and then count the plots on your phone to make sure that you have enough plots.

Water

You're going to want to try and hold onto some water scrolls for the Nuclear Winter Boss, so that way when you're planting your seeds, the Nuclear Winter Boss doesn't burn them premature.

Game Plan

The strategy is to during the course of your run, to use the Sprinkler Tracker constantly to get as many seeds in your inventory as possible, as well as, collecting seeds from enemies during exploration. You can also buy seeds from the merchant in town to help get those 150 seeds for the plots(not sure if trees will count). Or if you have a lot of weeds on your farm, use the Whacker Tracker to collect seeds. When the Nuclear Winter Boss fight starts, start tilling the land or if you have a spare land expansion/tilling scroll, us that. Then start planting the seeds. While planting the seeds, try to be quick, and if the Nuclear Winter Boss lights your crops on fire, quickly use a water scroll and put the fire out. One you have all 150 seeds planted, let the Nuclear Winter Boss do its thing and burn all your crops.

Old Guide

I got this attempting to clear year nine during nuclear winter. I had 150 tilled soil spaces, and used a seed scroll. While the seeds were growing the nuclear winter boss snapped his fingers and burned all my crops, and the achievement popped.

Edit: I got this around the Doom and Bloom update for consoles.
