I did this achievement with 1 friend and 3 controllers.
Before you come to the tunnel with the mines inside them its best to have an automatic weapon on all 3 controller..
Have the double blaster on the extra controller(the one that nobody is using).
When you come to the tunnel aim for one side and have your friend aim to the other side. Keep the 3rd controller still and use your foot to shoot.
By doing this I got this achievement first try.

I did this solo. I used the mega shot which requires a code to use. It is the red gun box upgrade. Shoot it to use the gun. One will spawn before each of the 2 sections of mines. Try not to waste too much of its ammo on enemies before getting to the mine section. Also en route to the second mine section, right before the falling barrels, you can destroy some of the mines early which will make it easier when trying to destroy them all afterward. The red mines take a few extra hits to destroy so try to focus on those first.
Lastly, do NOT attempt this after a checkpoint. This will only unlock upon starting from the start of the stage so if you miss a mine, just quit to main menu and restart the level from there.

Not too challenging. I did this by myself. One controller. There are two encounters with mines. The first time is real easy as long as you wait until just before you go into the cave with the mines to get the mega shot. The Mega shot makes shooting the mines wicked easy. The second encounter you have to use the fully auto shot. Which isn't bad but it isn't as good as the Mega shot for the mines. with slight practice it should be easy.

There are 2 sets of mines in this level. They float and they are all in a series. You must shoot them all until they explode, and you cannot touch them or the achievement will be lost. This can be an annoying achievement, so you should have multiple people playing on other controllers with you.
Note: This achievement unlocks at the end of the level.
