Pretty early on you will be intordued to creating colonists and make them happy.
You will need to built a folk seed dispenser and create colonist seeds by just using it.
Then you need to put the seed into a colonist incubator and add some food like berries to create a basic colonist.
This is what counts for the achievement so you will just need to do it 50 times.

it has either been renamed or just wrong but i think its called a Folk Seed Dispenser.
