*A WARNING*
I played this game offline for a while, didn't have internet access. When I got back into the game recently, I was already Expedition President. Went back to play the Arido Mesa mission, this achievement did NOT unlock. There is no way I can figure out to reset your progress in the game. I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling, deleting local and cloud save data, etc. no dice. Bottom line, don't play past your achievements in this game. You may be locked out of story-based achievements.
