Yeah set it to high moral, high resources, no events and you can hold 99% for years at a time. I'm on sol 31 and have 99% overall happiness with 433 colonists. Just letting it run to get 50 sol, and I also got the 3 megaplexes as well.

I actually did this with just the starting population. I made a geothermal generator, iron mine, nanite processor, greenhouse, retail center, hospital, two parks, habitat, and a few solar panels, then just let the game run at full speed for for five days, finishing at 96% happiness. One of the keys seemed to be changing the food in the greenhouse every day or so to increase food variety. This gained at least 3-4 percentage points.

I followed risseless suggestion and it worked flawlessly. I didn't even bother changing the food or building the hospital or parks. As long as you set Morale to Very High in the sandbox setting, it isn't hard at all. I finished the 5th day with 94% happiness.

I also found it useful to go back to the Tenari Glacier mission since you had the objective to bring morale to 90% and likely should have "happiness" infrastructure already in place. You'll also have the unity artifact so I found keeping happiness above 90% here pretty easy and just stayed at 8x time to speed it up for the 5 sols.

While GJShucky15’s idea isn’t wrong, I’d like to give a few more tips within that idea:

A smaller colony can certainly make getting this Achievement easier, but it is really about building placement. Make sure your residential buildings can be affected by more of the Morale buildings so that the effects stack. This can be seen in the lines going to it as you place it, but also the distance from buildings along walkways.

Overall, getting around 90% and +/- 3% is easy enough if you place about one of each Morale Building in range of your other buildings ala a central commercial district. However, this means your streak can be beaten by random variables to notch to 89 or 88 percent without a clear indicator why. Can be annoying.

So monitor your immigration and keep your employment and housing near 70% and just above. Try to space your housing so that any one structure isn’t full and is supplying people to different buildings than other units. And when you reach a happy eqaulibrium, turn off your Immigration Center and simply coast at max speed.

Lastly, and most importantly, if you can leave a large 4x4 space in the "center” of all your residential buildings and you have a buildup of unused nanites, plop yourself down a Stadium. Made a huge impact for me. While Shucky’s guide got me close, this last detail keep me at 99% without me doing anything else than what I’ve stated above and in 5 Sols, I had the Achievement with no fuss.

This can be done two ways, campaign missions or sandbox missions. The easiest method is to load up a sandbox map and set the referendum frequency to every Sol and all mission parameters to "easy". Maintain a very small population with minimal buildings and maximum staffing (Jobs filled 100%). Keep the colonists needs fulfilled and overall happiness over 90% over the course of 5 Sols.

Alternatively this can also be acquired while you are completing the Sol Survivor trophy requirements (Survive for 50 Sols) during campaign missions Hyla's Crescent, Tenari Glacier or Eden Crater. You are able to utilize the Unity Artifact to boost overall happiness to 100% during the end of the referendum year. The Unity Artifact will be recharged by the next referendum year.

The trophy is indeed not only possible, but also strictly recommended to be obtained in sandbox mode. Only there, in the game settings, you can not only, as written above, set elections every sol, which will greatly speed up getting the trophy, but you can also turn up the starting settings for the morale of the colonists to the maximum. Thus, at the very beginning of the game, this parameter will already be equal to or close to 90% and all you need to do to get the trophy is not to let it fall within 5 - 7 sols.

The easiest way to recruit in a campaign, for example, in the last mission you have a unity artifact, which raises morale to 100% by 0.5 sols, reloading 2 sols is enough to reload between elections. On election day, when winter begins, you launch the artifact and it is 100% guaranteed in the elections. You need 15 sols, taking into account the fact that completing the level itself took about 20 sols, for one I received a trophy https://www.stratege.ru/ps4/trophies...k/sol_survivor - Survive 50 sols in any mission.
You can also do the following in parallel to pass the time:
Megapolis - 3 megastructures
Park ranger -10 parks in one colony.
Solar Tycoon - 200 solar panels.
Flash Sale - Recycle 100 structures (solar panels)
Jack of all trades - 100 trading contracts.
-----
If there is not enough ore for nanites, they can be made from plants (Kelko sludge) slowly, but more processing can be supplied.
When I completed all the trophies except 50 sols - I placed 5 colonies around the city on the coast and missile batteries as close as possible in the ocean - no one could fly up. I received about 700 nanites per sol for expeditions, plus, on the expedition map the acceleration of time goes even faster. At the base I turned on auto repair.

The answer to all the questions in the first clue is yes. I did it in the sandbox, the first few times the mood was 60%+, then I increased it to 96% and calmly received the trophy.
