How to unlock the Act 1 Recruit achievement in Back 4 Blood - Definitive Guide

I have put the original solution in a spoiler tag as there have been changes to the game since posting the original solution.

This is for completing all maps in act 1. This can be done in online or offline mode. Before the update you could only gain achievements in online play only but since an update you can now get achievements in offline mode.

The acts and chapters are as follows. Once you complete the last one the achievements will pop.

I did this online and have all the prior mission achievements but this never popped. i never did any solo, although some lobbies i never found teammates and played with only bots. no cheevo for me

I’m the same as fishyy. All done online but no achievement.

Yeah the exact same thing has happened to me, I have completed act 1 On veteran and recruit and I still have not gotten the achievement I am very frustrated because I don’t know what is wrong, I have not done a single player so I don’t know why it’s not showing up

I believe you need to be HOST? I might be wrong but it just popped for me.

*side note I did run the whole act 1 with a random (really good fast player, thak god lol) so either all in 1 sitting (act 1,2, etc.. or host?)

The last chapter in ACT I ; which is, THE SOUND OF THUNDER, has a truck in it. If you pay attention to detail.. The truck has a decal on it. It shows HONEY BUNNY. You can board the truck. The truck has a turret. Use the trucks' turret to beatdown Ridden and close the cave opening. The truck is located next to the Howitzer.

Was buggy for me as well. Ran through all of Act 1 in a couple sittings and no achievement. But then it randomly popped when I was replaying a level through level select.

See the Trophy for Act 1 Cleaner trophy_bronze.png for an offline strategy/tips.

Completing Nightmare will also unlock this trophy, however I would strongly recommend playing through the game on each difficulty to unlock more cards, and learn the maps to develop your own strategy on how to tackle certain situations.
