How to unlock the Jukebox Hero achievement in Back 4 Blood - Definitive Guide

This can be unlocked in Act 1 - Bar Room Blitz. The easiest strategy that I found is buying Razor Wire from the vendor and placing it around the Jukebox to defend it. It also helps to buy the TEAM OFFENSIVE ITEM UPGRADE in the vendor which increases the distance that the Razor Wire covers and it also improves the quality of all Molotov's, Grenades, Pipe Bombs, Etc. If you bring a teammate along with you have them buy Razor Wire too, the more the better, You can also buy the TEAM OFFENSIVE SLOT upgrade to increase how many Razor Wire you can carry. Keep in mind all vendor items are random each time you load in so your vendor might not have those upgrades. You can exit the level and reload it to make the vendor items change. These upgrades aren't needed but help. The most important thing is bringing the Razor Wire to defend the Jukebox.

Having some trouble with this one. I'm going to try this: start from the very beginning of the game to accumulate cards in play. Start with Hoffman (+1 offensive inventory), Jim (start with razor wire), and Holly (+25 team stamina). Don't know what fourth would help best. Then work up to this point and do what the guide states. Maybe I'm just bad, I don't know.

Just did this and it didn't pop in-game. Left at the start of the next level for the Fort and it popped.

lots of teamwork lots of razor wire and use a few pipe bombs call out big guys and focus on tall boys and any other big guys. Might take a few tries to figure out placement of barb wire and the luck of cards and guns you get if just going for it without doing a full run.

If you play as Hoffman, you get an extra offensive slot right from the start. There are 2 cards that increase your offensive slots (Double Grenade Pouch and Grenade Pouch) If you get the upgrade from the vendor, you can potentially have a maximum of 6 razor wire equipped. I was able to do it solo with bots using only 4 razor wire.

Zombies can hit the Jukebox form the room behind it. Be sure to cover that spot too.

For this achievement, I'd suggest doing this either solo (online) or having 1 friend with you as the horde will be a lot smaller. Set this to recruit difficulty and at the start of the match, feel free to switch any of your weapons if you feel uncomfortable or you think they will not get the job done for this achievement. You should also buy some razor wire and pipe bombs if available. If you're using chapter select, you can only buy 1 bomb and defense item. Gas canisters and propane tanks will usually spawn in and they should be scattered in the parking lot outside the bar. You can use some of those items if you find in necessary (I personally found it helpful to have gas canisters and propane tanks as traps set up around the bar). You can also find some molotovs behind the bar if you need some more firepower. Before you start the jukebox, set your razor wire to the right of the jukebox so that way it covers 3 of the entrances the zombies will be using. Once you have started the jukebox, stay near it. If you camp behind the bar the bots tend to be a little lazy and sometimes the zombies end up breaking the jukebox. Put yourself between the jukebox and the zombies and give it everything you got. In this video guide I will show you how to defend the jukebox in Bar Room Blitz without it breaking. This is on Act 1, level called Bar Room Blitz.
Now one thing you will need is the team offensive upgrade for making the barb wire longer. If not it's still doable. Just buy some wire. Once at the bar place all the barb wire in front of the juke box. You can also grab gas containers and propane tanks to set up in front of doorways to slow enemies down. Have one teammate at each doorway and try to have a melee weapon with a decently strong primary. Defend as best as you can, as long as you don't need to repair the juke box you should get the achievement once the cutscene starts.

In Act 1 - Bar Room Blitz, you and your team will have to defend the bar and survive for a few minutes while the other survivors board busses. In order to cause a distraction, you will start up a jukebox that will cause a horde.

The achievement requires you and your team to defend the jukebox and cause it to not be destroyed throughout the entirety of the hoard.

While you can use razor wire and what not, make sure to loot around the bar before starting the jukebox. Remeber that there is a ton of ammo on the bar + a good amount of molotovs. You can use both to help keep zombies out of the bar.

Make sure you and your squad are focusing on different points of entry vs. looking at the same. When a big enemy enters, focus all fire on them. Much rather have a normal zombie get a few hits into the Jukebox vs. one or two hits from a larger enemy.

I would also recommend using an AR, SMG or LMG so you can ammo dump without having to reload. Something with a fast fire rate and solid magazine size can prove helpful when ammo dumping into a crowd of zombies.

Play this on Recruit difficulty and it should be pretty simple! The achievement will pop once all survivors are loaded into the bus.

This has to be done on Act 1 “Bar Room Blitz”
Best done solo with 3 bots


You’ll need razor wire & shotgun from the safe room. When you reach the bar put the razor wire near the juke box then look around the bar for whatever ever items you may need or want. When your ready start the jukebox & make sure your facing the the sign on the wall that says “Bar” which will have 3 entry ways the ridden come straight at you from. Just camp there & use the shotgun to kill them as they come out & don’t turn away from that area as there is no need to becauause the bots will kill everything coming from the other entrances. Just beware of the special mutations (not sure what to call em) as they can knock you out of position leaving the jukebox exposed to the regular ridden.

This video will show you a method to obtain the Jukebox hero Trophy. This method is razorwire based and requires some setup time, but it's worth it to get the trophy. First of all make a deck which consists of extra quick item capacity, glass cannon, a shotgun damage card and some accessory damage cards. I also equipped magicians apprentice and Pinata into the deck, but these aren't nessasary. Choose either Walker for the extra damage or Karlee for her extra quick slot and ability to see Mutations through walls. Start up the bar room blitz level on recruit (Offline) and choose the ammo cards for more damage. Check the shop. If the Quick Item upgrade isnt available then quit and restart the level until it is. Even though this trophy can be achieved without razorwire, it gives alot of room for error and more time to focus on the more dangerous mutations. Buy several stacks of razorwire and ferry them to the bar area. Pick up a shotgun on the way too. Place the razorwire around entrance and the area immedately by the jukebox. Place them around corners to get full effect from the wire. Place it in the directions ridden are likely to find the quickest path to the jukebox. Place some at entrances and windows. The damage boost from Walker, Confident Killer and Glass Cannon should make the wire deal considerable damage to the ridden. When starting the Jukebox, position yourself near but not too near the Jukebox. The best place is by the bar inbetween the 3 entryways. This way, any infected or mutations that come in through these ways are likely to target you and not the Jukebox immediately. Tallboys bruisers and exploders are the biggest concern as they deal considerable damage to the jukebox if they get close. These are the main priority. Luckily the bots are really good and should help clear more of the Infected that straggle through. The shotguns have decent stumble so if a tallboy or bruiser do get close you should be able to stun and kill them before they get aby attacks off. After the third bus is loaded and the Humvee is ready to enter, the trophy should trigger. Congratulations!

Done on low difficulty on the map "Bar Raid". In the bar you need to turn on the jukebox, after which the music will play and the attack will begin. To avoid breaking the device, you need to stand with your back to it and protect it from approaching enemies. As soon as the music stops, the achievement will appear, after which you can run to the car.

It took me a long time to get this trophy. As a result, with my deck I got it the first time.

If you play B4B for a long time, then you should have these cards.

Eight cards needed:
•One is not enough
•Auto-recharge
•A pouch for 2 grenades or a pouch for grenades (it is advisable to have the first one)
•Demolition expert
•Large-caliber cartridges
•Combat Training
•Shooting gloves
•Weapons for battle

There is no need to supplement the deck with other cards.
It’s easier to find the cards you need through a search when creating a deck.
Important! The name of the cards must be written in capital letters, otherwise the search will not yield results.

The most important cards are the first three:
•The first allows you to use two main weapons. I recommend a shotgun and an assault rifle.
•The second allows you to automatically charge additional weapons while you are not using them. Then you won’t have to waste time reloading and you can immediately switch to a loaded weapon.
•Third, makes it possible to carry more attack items.
The remaining cards complement the first three.

Turn on "Bar Raid" in offline mode. The character is needed Jim, since his skill gives 10% damage to the weak points of special charged ones.
In the store you buy grenades and barbed wire and a first aid kit.
Approaching the jukebox and looking at it, place the barbed wire on the left side. In the room behind the machine, open the container in case the first aid kit is used and additional health is needed.
When you turn on the machine, stay close to it so that the bots are also nearby. View the bar's access areas. Then just shoot out the infected, changing weapons when the number of cartridges is small and you will succeed.
After the survivors are evacuated according to the assignment and the option to get into the Hummer appears, then the trophy will drop

Additional tip. This mission is the most convenient for farming supply points, as it is completed quickly and on an easy difficulty level it gives 43 points, provided that all survivors survived

I discovered an easier way to get tfroy. I managed to complete the task 3 times in a row without breaking the musical device.

We create a deck of eight cards:
•Rhythmic breathing
•Thirst for battle
•Batter
•Madness and courage
•Universal sneakers
•Berserk
•Surge of Adrenaline
•Methamphetamine Man

It is easier to find the cards you need through a search when creating a deck.
Important! The name of the cards must be written in capital letters, otherwise the search will not yield results.

Play Act 1: Bar Raid offline and choose Holly as she is the perfect melee character.
At the spawn point, take the “green” bat and run straight to the machine gun. After turning it on, stay close to it and use the bat to smash all suitable infected people. You won't need a firearm, you can forget about it. Well, then it’s a matter of small things
