I've done this and the achievement didn't pop do you have to complete the act for it to pop

Hello Everyone!
This can be accomplished in ACT 1 Chapter "Resurgence." Progress through the level naturally until you complete the hold and defend your position event while extending the bridge across to the construction site. After crossing, head down the hallway through 1 of the 2 doors, and take a left until you see the "Watch Your Step" sign in front of you on the wall. Instead of outright jumping off the ledge, instead use the ladder to proceed down. If you mess up, DON'T WORRY, you can just walk up to the ladder and continuously move up and down the ladder until it pops. Please see the attached video if you prefer visual representation. In this video guide I will show you how to safely descend the ladder in the construction zone in Resurgence. This is in Act 1, level called Resurgence.
