This can be done Offline on Recruit difficulty.
I found that the most interesting and useful way to completing this achievement is by combining it with the Duffel Bag farming run of Act V: Ch. 2 (as shown in the video below). There are two guaranteed Crones (to kill) at the end of the level (which can be completed in just a few minutes) and Duffel Bags unlock Gadget Cards which make No Hope difficulty a breeze (as of the release of the DLC, might be nerfed soon).
Build a speedy deck with the WEAPON SCAVENGER card and load up Act V: Ch. 2 (the aforementioned card will allow you to see weapons through walls and help finding the bow). Buy a toolkit in the safe room (to open potential locked rooms) and then start looting every building for either a duffel bag or the bow. If acquired, use the bow to kill a Crone in the room at the end of the level. Cash in your Duffel Bags by completing the level and then quit and reload if no bow has been found.
The video shows the location of most Duffel Bags spawn locations. There are two other spawn locations: in the same building as No. 3 in the video and the other one is in the garage near the end of the level on wood pallets.
The other option for this achievement is to load Act V: Ch. 6 and look for the bow in the KSC Orange Crate as it is available for sale on occasion. Quit, reload and repeat until the bow is for sale. The level has plenty of Crones to kill. This method may take a lot of attempts (or not).
